This book was written the year after Darkness on the Edge of Town came out. The pictures aren't so hot, but the writing is wonderful rock-critic gushing. There is analysis of every song on every record. And the couple of paragraphs spent comparing the cover photos of Born to Run and Darkness on the Edge of Town are over the top! There's a definite time-capsule vibe going on here.
