I'm Alycia. I just discovered I'm a witch and made a big mistake...I changed a man's fate.
All my life, I've believed my parents abandoned me. My grandmother was the kind but nagging old lady who cared for me when no one else was there.
Granny never liked to talk about my mom and dad. No one does.
I've never believed in magic.
I work at a magic shop where I read palms. It's all just a gimmick.
But...I discovered I have real power.
There is this absolute dream of a man, Tais, that comes to the shop every month for his fortune.
My visions started with Tais. So did the voice in my head.
I saw him with his soulmate; the woman fate wanted to give him.
It wasn't me...
So I changed his fate.
Now he's mine.
I'm not sure how, but I did. Something, someone kept urging me.
That is when Dixon came along.
None of my tricks work on him. He blew into my life like a cold wind after I bound Tais. Dixon tells me I'm a descendant of one of North America's most powerful magical families. That Granny is one of the most powerful of our kind and that I'm untrained and creating a "massive imbalance."
Dixon irritates me...but he is sexy...I deal with it.
So, I've magically bound a man to me that fate meant for another...I've ticked off a powerful wizard who is intent on training me...and I keep hearing voices telling me to take what I want, and the consequences be damned.
I wonder whose voice that is.
Alycia's Binding is a scorching witch/wizard paranormal romance with language and scenes for Adults only. HEA guaranteed.
Note: I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.
Triggers: child abandonment.
I deserved better from this novel. Dixon deserved better. This novel deserved better. A better rewrite.
I only enjoyed Dixon and Grammy’s dialogues as they were trying to solve the main problems. I hated Alycia - and I don’t usually hate the main protagonists (female specially). But due to her constant ping pong about knowing the truth or not, being alone or not, loving someone or not - drove me nuts. Like seriously - is every 28 year old only obsessed with partners? Or do they have a life outside it? I just want to know considering I’m in my 20s. Should I follow Alycia darling or not? So many questions.
Seriously - the character development lacked greatly. The drama was exaggerated deeply. The resolve of the conflicts in between were too quick. And the sex scenes were of the wrong people - at least the hero and heroine deserved more hot and damn what scenes.
Though I’m glad this was a far quicker read - greatly helped with taking away the torture feeling of when this was going to end sooner.
This book deserved a better write. Hell a rewrite. I would’ve been so there for it if it had.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this interesting story "ALYCIA'S BINDING" your hook from the start so much mystery, deceit, secrets, lies, steamy scenes, darkness, intrigue, trust issues, angst, manipulation, twist that make for a very addicting story you can't put down. Alycia is something she's totally unaware of because her Grammy bound her powers she doesn't believe in magic but works at a shop called Tale Yet Told where she dies readings, she has accidently binds a client to her but not knowing of her powers that she's done this to Tais he only wants to see her ever she has manipulated but she thinks he's interested in her. Dixon is charged with training Alycia now that her powers have surface partially because her Grams bound her powers because her mother Selenis turned to the dark side along with her father Kendall he's been bound to her mother. Alycia doesn't believe anything Dixon tells is happening to her & what she's going to Tais but what happens when her Gran's tells her about her mother & father also she'd bound her powers afraid she'd be like her mother Selenis. I definitely recommend to get this very interesting story following "Dixon & Alycia's" journey will it all work out for them will Alycia, her father Kendall & Tais be freed of binding & will Alycia & Dixon get a HEA you must get this book to see how things turn out. AWESOME DARK TWISTED ROMANCE 🖤 🖤 🖤

It's very steamy as if there wasn't already enough to draw you in. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Alycia's Binding pulled me in from the start and I didn't want to put it down. Working in a magic shop and telling fortunes Alycia was confused as to why she could actually see her client's future. Alycia doesn't know she can and does practice magic because her grandmother refused to tell her. Let yourself be pulled into Alycia's life, magic, and romance. Learn how she figures out her gifts and if she chooses right or wrong.
I was given an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
A highly enjoyable book, and some remarkable realistic characters. Alicia not knowing anything about her past, ended up getting a huge shock when she found out she had special abilities that decided to show up while she was telling one of her customers his future, she ended up connecting to him and making her claim on him. Not realizing that it felt wrong, because she had a crush on the Tais. A stranger, Dixon comes to town and he helps her to recognize that what she was doing was wrong and unfair to Tais. I have received a complimentary ARC from the author for a fair and honest review.
This story is based on a very good concept but it's too lengthy and consequently too dull. Alycia is an extremely annoying character, she's a stubborn and needy airhead. In the end, she comes to her senses and grows some spine but the overall conclusion is unsatisfactory and could have been placed at almost any moment between 250-320 pages.
This is a well written book with a cast of strong characters and an exciting storyline. The author brings a fast paced magical story with tons of secrets and enough twists and turns that kept me glued to the pages. She does a great job painting her scenes and delivers a terrific story.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
A fantastic new read by Clover Coy. Alycia is living her life not knowing that she is part of a magical family with a complex history when her powers start to manifest. We follow along as she struggles to choose between right and wrong as well as love and obsession.
This is a great story filled with lots of interesting twists. Definitely worth the read
An entertaining adventure into the witchy things that are mind blowing. Alycia has had a very interesting life with strange things happening. A need to read! ❤️❤️📚👍
