This is part of the Dark Reign series each book can be read as a standalone with a sexy devil of it’s own well in this case three sexy and the girl they make the decision to keep safe protected so hold on buckle up this is a wild ride, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, so gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!

Abby grew up with her dad whom is over protective always watching never allowing her to have her own space so she learns to deal with it he is needy, over protective being a avid reader living through the characters in books she reads and on a small vacation in another country where she meets two wild sisters in a club scene that isn’t her and wanting to go back to the aribnb curling up with a book. Ilya, Fedor and Bogdan sexy as all get out Russian mob out at the club well two of them were out at the club picking up a few girls to party with when their attention is taken by the DJ who is being a little to possessive with a young American stepping in to put a stop to it and offering them a fun time back on their boat of course the American has the good sense to question it all. Abby doesn’t want to leave her friends because they are high, they are drunk but when the guys ask them to come to their boat she has been a good girl under her father’s thumb all her life so why not be a bad girl if only for a moment not realizing that one decision will shift her path forever. Our three sexy as all get out guys never expected to find their girl one that all three of them can be with and one they are willing to protective …oh did I mention they kidnapped her to begin with but it quickly lead to something more but the questions are why did they take her, why is she in need of protection, is her father who she thinks he is or is he the reason she needs protection, who does she turn to when her world his turn all the way around, upside down, will her guys be there to catch her, to protect her, to keep her safe, and can she find some form of happiness while on the adventure they all embarked upon?

Holy moly this story went in a place I did not expect at all. Abby has finally gotten the break she needs away from her father. Being able to travel to Spain and find herself has given her the confidence and peace she has needed. When she meets two sisters who are crazy she decides to throw caution to the wind and go with them. At a club, they meet some attractive men who she is Leary at but they decide to go have some fun. Now on a yacht with 3 handsome strangers, Abby doesn't realize what is really going on. When morning comes things for Abby are about to change, because this wasn't an accident she met these men. No, it was on purpose because they are holding her hostage. Now she has to find a way to escape. When things start to go wrong and her life starts to unravel she will find things out that may destroy her whole life. I loved Abby and how strong she was even in the face of danger. And the three men Bogdan, Fedor, and Ilya well holy hotness. Find out what happens to Abby.

Another great book from Mika Lane. Kidnapped by 3 sexy guys from the Russian mafia, her entire life is about to change. She keeps trying to escape. She’s beginning to enjoy their punishments. Lots of mystery, suspense, as well as STEAM.

A trip abroad will take an unexpected turn

This book is awesome! Abby heads to Spain for vacation and what happens there will completely upend her life! She will end up a pawn in a game against her father and three Russians - Bogdan, Ilya and Fedor. Her journey will start out a bit rough but in the end, she will learn the truth about her father and her mother’s disappearance from her life and will get to have a happily ever after with the three men who originally kidnapped her in order to bring her father in line.

So good! I very much enjoyed reading how Abby and her men come together! It was so nice to have a slightly more in depth kidnap and fall in love tale! The guys were tough but sweet with Abby. Abby goes through quite a bit mentally but in the end is stronger for it.

Lots of surprises and even some cuteness is involved!

Abby goes on a vacation alone and away from her controlling father where she meets two sisters that she thinks are crazy. Even so, she ends up accepting their invite to go to a club with them. At the club, she meets three men, while leary, she joins them and the sisters on a boat trip. Only to find out that the sisters had left her and she was in fact kidnapped by the three men. Abby tries to escape but keeps getting caught and brought back to the boat. When they tell her they are trying to protect her, and that her father is actually not the guy she thinks he is, she doesn't believe them and continues to defy their orders. Punishment starts to turn out to not be so bad as she starts connecting with the men. This was a fun and exciting read to find out if she would actually escape, or if she would decide she wants to stay with her captors.

This book is completely awful.How can it have 4 and 5 stars on Amazon and Goodreads? It has every cliché a mobster book can have, it seems straight out of Wattpad.

Pretty girl who doesn't know she's pretty.
Girl who is "not like the others".
Girl who thinks she's strong and independent, but in reality is weak and pathetic.
Girl "innocent", but in reality hides a different personality.
Internalized misogyny, criticizes other women for how they dress.
Russian mafia men who know no Russian words other than "babushka, krastotka, malishka and zolotse".
Kidnapping accompanied by Stockholm syndrome.

Seriously, name a cliché and this book probably has it. The main character is so stupid that it made me want to go into the book and shake her. One minute she's angry, the next she's having sex with her captors, then she's angry again, devises plans to "escape" that are really just an excuse to have more sex, then she's angry again. The men are gone for a week and it's like the story stalls because they are gone, she does nothing but read, sunbathe and cook, she doesn't look for ways to escape, she doesn't look for information, she doesn't snoop around the men's bedroom for her cell phone, seriously, nothing, it's like she's on vacation on a yacht, she's aware she's kidnapped, but she does nothing but enjoy the comforts and when the men arrive, she has the stupidity to get mad and pout because they didn't tell her where they were going and because "they hurt my feelings". Seriously she's super stupid and the worst part is that she defines herself as "I'm not like other girls because I'm strong and smart". Yeah, right.

The men are just as pathetic, they have no defined personality, nothing to make them stand out, they are the typical prefabricated mold of mobsters who kidnap a woman because they want to send a message to her father. This book has no plot, it's just sex disguised as plot. Dreadful.

Seriously, this book is a sh... A total sh*t. Also if I could give it -1 star I would give it to him.

Another book from Mika Lane that was great. It was still a shorter story but it's packed full of all the emotions you would expect. Abby is taken while on a vacation as a way to get back at her dad. (don't get me started on my feelings for him). Ilya, Fedor and Bogdan didn't expect to have feelings for Abby but once things started, it gets hot and heavy. The guys know what her dad is really like (have I said I don't care for her dad? ) and while they try to shield her, things come to light that are hard for Abby to believe. Can the guys keep her safe? What does her dad do? And what happens when the guys find someone important in Abby's life? This book was one I couldn't put down. Be sure to pick it up.

I thought this book was quite entertaining and steamy hot. Abby goes to Europe for the summer when she is kidnapped by Ilya, Bogdan and Fedor. Held captive, the sparks between them flare and their passion overtakes them. However, Abby is determined to escape as much as the men are determined to have her stay. I found this book to have some intrigue and suspense which makes it an interesting read.

Unpredictable turnaround

The narrative is definitely steamy, but I wasn't really into the three men and Abby's narrative, perhaps because she's unable for two seconds to imagine what's going on around her for a good chunk of the story.
On the other hand, I found the title very appropriate, questioning who the monsters really are in this story. It picks up the story and the pacing, nicely.

She convinced her father to let her go to Spain, little did she know what’s in store for her and the adventure she will be led on nor the danger she open to herself. Kidnapped, murder and mayhem and family issues are all involved in this interesting story Who’s really her enemy? Just loved this story. Recommended.

Mika is back with yet another 5 star book! Abby's life is not as it seems and when Ilya, Fedor and Bogdan get their hands on her, Abby finds herself. I really this book with the steam, drama, love, secrets and the great HEA. I can't wait for more from Mika.

Abby talked her dad into letting her go to Spain by herself, where she meets Sabine and Vivianne. They want her to come with them to Ibiza, then they convince her to get on a boat with men they don't know. But it was a setup, and now she's alone on the boat with the men who have taken issue with her father's way of business. She knows nothing about what her father does. She isn't happy about her situation, and every time she tries to escape, she gets a funishment. What she doesn't understand is, her dad isn't fighting to get her back. What will happen to her now?

This book took turns I wasn't expecting. Your heart just feels for the mfc. The reunion was unexpected and emotional. I was hoping the end would be a bit further out I to the future, but over the book was well written.
