The Time Traveler's Wife but make it fantastical. 😍 Forgive me for this comparison, but it made me nostalgic and I loved that.

This was a sweet, enjoyable read. Sure, the FMC was timid and hesitant, but it tracks with the kind of life she's led. Having been on her own and pulled through time since the age of 8, I assume she'd be wary of anyone and everyone in each new place. This was such a good concept, and it was made different from TTTW by the added elements of a supernatural stalker, a fated mate, and a pack of shifters.
I do feel like things were either resolved quickly once the plan was determined, or they were left open for later standalones, which was sad. I also hate that the MMC himself was questioning even in the last 1/4 of the book whether she was right for him because she was submissive and he'd always gone for dominant women. Ick, why is this an issue this late in the book, especially since we just roll right past it into a declaration of love from him? SMH. I would have rated this higher if not for those things.
Anyway, this was an interesting read that I'm glad I picked up.
Not smutty, no third act breakup, short epilogue (sadly). The next book might be good, judging by setup on the last few chapters.
I was in no way prepared for where all this story would sweep me away to. I have to say that I love that we got this chance to come back to the Maitland pack to see our favorite wolves, and even our favorite air elemental. Derrick and Meghan are fabulous together. Theirs is a quieter chemistry than some of the couples we’ve seen before them, but it’s no less powerful for being lower key. The mystery of Meghan’s curse and its solution are nothing like I thought they’d be, and I love when an author can surprise me so completely. Now, I’m a little desperate to find out what the aftermath is going to bring for the rest of the Maitland wolves. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.
I was on board as soon as I read time-traveling witch and a wolf shifter! Love that! Sounded like such a fun adventure, and it was! Danger abound and curses! Plus, that passionate connection between mates! Derrick and Meghan have good chemistry and compliment each other well. An entertaining story!
Derrick and his pack members face what they consider a suspicious and difficult to understand situation. For time traveler Meghan, her life has been a continual nightmare and without knowledge of how to solve her predicament, can only try to help others in her path. A great mystery, not at all predictable, surrounds her. Interesting how the relationship between Derrick and Meghan develops and the efforts he makes to understand what is happening. Kiera was also not far behind with her character, that it seems that the author has it reserved for us in the future. Hmm! Something big is cooking for her. This story turned out to be very intriguing with surprising and interesting twists that left me thinking of other possible stories. Interesting secondary characters with their own drama y mystery, action, suspense, romance, and passion. And that conclusion, how emotional! I almost shed a tear. The author does not miss a thing! I love these L.B. stories. Gilbert, full of mystery and intriguing situations that make me think and feel with the characters. I voluntarily reviewed this copy that I received for free from Booksprout and I enjoyed it.
Meghan is bouncing around time with no control until she finally “meets” Derrick and hi pack. There was an interesting plot here but the structure at the end was weird. I was into the mystery and trying to solve Meghan’s problem, but it felt like sometimes we were moving at a steady pace and then we’d just jump to something else that wasn’t 100% earned. Like the romance between our MCS. We know what Meghan knows about their future but in the present they’ve mostly flirted innocently so for things to ramp as a little much for me. Also the romance takes a back seat to the mystery around Meghan and the sexy times (which aren’t many) are fade to black (at best).
Once we got closer to the end there were chapters from other character’s POV which felt unnecessary. Some dealt with the plot but they mostly felt like setup for another story. It was weird because after those chapters we jump back to our MCs.
With all that I did overall like all the characters and the world they lived in. I wouldn’t mind seeing more of Meghan and Derrick as she comes into her own skin more.
It was enjoyable but there were some things I didn’t love. Check it out for yourself!
This is a unique approach to a story line involving a time-witch. Derrick and Meghan were meant to be together. Meghan is the time-traveling witch who has finally caught up to wolf shifter Derrick, her fated mate. But there is an evil following that will take everything away from her and try to destroy her – or did they get that wrong? Will Derrick find a way to keep her here in his own time? Can he protect her? Or will she have to move on to a time and place he can never follow? Will she ever find out the truth of the shadow man… and herself?
Meghan a time traveling witch has finally found her fated mate a wolf shifter named Derrick and things take some interesting turns. These two go through a lot in this book and from the fated mates to the mystery and intrigue of Meghan's curse their story held my attention from beginning to end. This is book four and a great addition to the series. I look forward to reading more books by this author in the future. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Although I only rated this 3 stars, it was still a really good book. I’m a fan of this series and this one was fine.
It’s just that I’m not a big fan of frail heroines, though she had her own strengths and mental fortitude with her situation. It’s just that I expected a strong and fierce heroine just like the other books (Logan is my favorite and I was happy to see her again!). Derrick was just as great as I expected him to be!
I like this idea of a time witch. The plot felt very unique. Derrick & Meghan’s story is told in a very “nothing beyond embracing” way on the page, but the affection& care for each other is very strong. We It was fun to see Connell & Logan again.
I hope we get Nathan & Kiera’s story. And I am very curious about the [spoiler] wolf and what his story is.

Derrick finds a young female is on pack land but no-one knows anything about her. After a bit of time he discovers where she is living and while checking it out she pops into existence in the room so he sees it happening. Now he decides to help her as much as possible. Love it Good Adult Read.
This puts a unique twist on time travel, witches and shifters. There is no denying the connection between Derrick and Meghan. Their story has an entertaining and engaging adventure. I had fun reading this book!
