I recently got hold of a second-hand copy of The President's Grass Is Missing. Reading it again after all these years brought back such happy memories of more innocent times. The story and the writing are excellent.
I'm surprised it was never adapted for the screen, and even more surprised that it now appears to be out of print. I mentioned this to my own publisher; Richard Hinchliffe at Brindle Books Ltd. and he was as surprised as I was. Like myself, he feels that this great book should still be in print.
