Ed Adams writes systems fiction—novels about control, alignment, and the structures that operate just beyond visibility. His work moves through technology, finance, and power, following characters who recognise patterns early, and understand the cost of them later.

Across his books, connections accumulate: names recur, organisations persist, and signals pass between stories in ways that are not always explained, but rarely accidental. Some readers refer to this as the “Adamsverse,” although the term suggests more stability than is present.

Within those systems, individuals still meet moments of calibration, misalignment, or brief alignment that carry their own charge. Not everything that matters is structural.

Each novel stands alone. None are entirely separate.

Readers can begin anywhere. The system does the rest.

He lives in the UK.

Coin by Ed Adams is a cutting edge thriller about the cryptocurrency world. Even after an excellent explanation of how Blockchain technology works, I found myself still wondering how exactly Bitcoin and the other cryptocurrencies are rapidly replacing our traditional monetary system.

What I liked best about this story is that it starts with a couple of guys tinkering with machinery and math (sound familiar?) and ending up with something incredible.

Political intrigue is mixed with multi-level spy craft from most major governments as well as quite a few smaller ones. The characters are switched around so often, you're never sure who's really the enemy.

The end was satisfying in that it drew most plotlines to a conclusion but left a big enough gap for the sequel. And with such strong female leads and witty male counterparts, I'm really looking forward to reading!

Get rich quick with cybercash. Just don’t tell the government! It sounds easy, printing money. But not when the Americans and Russians find out. Tyler, Kyle, Rosie and Matt desperately need to un-invent something. I could feel Big Brother looking over my shoulder the entire time I was reading this boo. Half of me wanted to be printing that money? But not once they see trouble coming! I gave this honest, voluntary review after being given a free copy of the book with no monetary compensation.

This is an enjoyable story of computer manipulation and state secrets. The three friends have gone through uni together and found a way to manipulate cyber currency and end up working for the government as analysts who get caught up in international intrigue. I whole heartedly recommend this book and a plus from my point of view there's no bad language as so many books now have.

First off I could not put this book down in between reading sessions. This story is a sort of techno-thriller and a lesson about digital currency. But don’t be worried you need to be a computer or math whiz to enjoy it. The characters are well developed and 3 dimensional. The science behind the story is explained as the story progresses and is easily understood. Beyond all that is a truly well written story that keeps you captivated. There is nothing in the book that is unnecessary or uninteresting. In fact the book drew me along with a natural flow. I highly recommend this book to all readers. I look forward to reading much more from this author
