Taylor's Outrageous Vow
Taylor wants revenge.
When her boyfriend dumps her right after a magical prom, she enrolls her best friends, Daphne and Veronica, to create a Vow of Vengeance, a list of pranks to make her douchey ex, Zander, suffer.
Nothing will distract her from messing with Zander. Not having all six of her brothers and their families come to visit. Not an over-the-top family vacation. And definitely not her brother's super hot college roommate who is staying with them. Even if he is the most gorgeous guy she's ever seen.
As Taylor checks off the items in her outrageous vow, the pranks become way more disastrous than she ever planned, putting her friends and family at risk.
Taylor needs to get her anger in check, along with her feelings for an older guy, before she blows her chance at true love.
For fans of Clique Bait and I Believe in a Thing Called Love comes this hilarious romantic comedy.

Oh. My. Goodness!! Taylor's Outrageous Vow is THE YA contemporary of 2022. Hilariously witty, Taylor and the gang's adventures will have you laughing from beginning to end - I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard while reading a book! From the swoony love interest (Team Huntley!) to the amazing trip to Disneyland (now I want to visit!), Taylor's Outrageous Vow kept me engaged and rooting for Taylor throughout her wacky schemes to get even with her horrible ex. It was also so much fun to see cameos from characters in the first book, like Daphne's mom Laura and Laura's boyfriend, Cody!
The thing that stood out to me the most about this book was the family/friend dynamics! Taylor, Daphne and Veronica reminded me so much of my friends when we were in high school together - in all the best ways possible. I also loved the sibling dynamics present throughout the story. Taylor's love for everyone in her family is very evident throughout and provides a heartwarming foundation for the escapades that occur.
If any book is going to top Daphne's Questionable Bet as my favorite contemporary, it would be its amazing sequel. Be sure to check out Taylor's Outrageous Vow, available February 14, 2022!

Rtc but can I just say I’ve not laughed at a book like this since Daphne’s Questionable Bet and this one definitely topped it 👏🏻

Sara is truly a genius at writing romcoms. Her books are full of delicious flirting, fun romps, true family relations, and at the heart is a solid message.
Taylor is so funny and the pranks in this book are just LOL. I loved getting to see Daphne again, though this definitely doesn't need to be read with the prior book. The family relations are so fun. All of Taylor's brothers are wonderful and unique. Hilarious and heartfelt!

Thank you to the publisher for giving me chance to read the eARC and write this review!
It’s been awhile since I’ve read a YA contemporary romance book and Taylor’s Outrageous Vow just fueled my love once again for YA romance! It started quickly and held no barrels in introducing the seventeen-year old Taylor Thomas, her six brothers, her two best friends, an ex-boyfriend who she vowed to take revenge on, and her brother’s roommate, with whom she’ll spend the summer with. Basically, the plot focused on the Vow of Vengeance list she created, which includes pranks on her ex-boyfriend, Zander. It didn’t focus much on the relationship they had but rather the aftermath of their relationship, which I really enjoyed.
The family dynamics in this one are very hilarious and can be relatable to others. Sara Jo Cluff nailed the revenge-on-ex trope and the falling-for-brothers’-best-friend trope!
Reading this is a perfect way to spend Valentine's Day!

Full rtc, but yes, I was grinning like a fool.

It's finally come. The book I've been waiting a year for.
And it lived up to my expectations!
The first thing that I really liked was seeing characters from the last book. Oftentimes, authors glaze over the characters since they have already had their story. However, the characters were prevalent and important to the story. I liked how we still saw Daphne struggling with anxiety and how her friends helped her through it even though the story was not about her.
Now, as for Taylor. She was so fun to get to know. Her personality jumped off the page.
While some of the pranks were a bit juvenile, I still found them absolutely hilarious, and yes, I was laughing almost the whole time while reading (which is the sign of a good book).
There had better be a book three over two specific characters. If you have read the book, you know who I mean.
5 Stars
Content: nothing to worry about here :)
*I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All thoughts are my own and a positive review was not required.

I received an ARC of this book, and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Everything is going great for Taylor Thomas--until her boyfriend dumps her after prom without warning. Her best friends, Daphne and Veronica, team up with her to create Taylor's Vow of Vengeance: a list of pranks to pull on Zander (Taylor's ex). But it's hard to stay focused when all six of Taylor's brothers return home at the same time, especially when one of them brings their roommate home for the summer. It doesn't help that the roommate, Huntley, happens to be very attractive. As Taylor works her way through the list, she might just find true love along the way.
This is the second book I've read by Sara Jo Cluff, and I actually loved Taylor's story even more than Daphne's! It was great to see some of the characters from Daphne's Questionable bet again. Both books are so much fun to read, and they never fail to make me laugh!
One of my favorite things about Sara's writing is that she writes such fun books while also touching on some sensitive topics. Body image and anxiety are two important topics covered in this book, and I think Sara handles them excellently. They really make the book feel even more realistic.
I also love the relationships in this series! Taylor's relationships with her huge family put a smile on my face (gotta love sibling antics!) Of course, I also love the friendship between Taylor, Daphne, and Veronica. They're such a close-knit group of friends that would do anything for each other!
This book had me laughing out loud on multiple occasions! The prank list was hysterical, and there were so many other hilarious scenes!
I strongly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys a clean YA contemporary romance that is hilarious, wholesome, heart-warming, and fun!
Content: no language, though there are a few uses of the middle finger. Other than that, this is clean!

Getting broken up with does NOT mean you need to get revenge.
I didn’t like this book. I was so excited to read it after reading Daphne’s Questionable Bet, but this book was a major disappointment.I didn’t like Taylor at all. I didn’t like Huntley either. She would pull pranks on Zander and take them to the extreme. (Zander did NOT deserve to be treated that way) She’s literally so immature. Taylor was literally so busy doing pranks on Zander, she was so stinking blind that Veronica was having problems with DeShawn. I liked her brothers.(Samson and Quinn are my favorites) hopefully Veronica’s book is better. I really want Samson and her together!

If you are looking for a hilarious, fun, witty, rom-com; then look no further! Taylor's Outrageous Vow is the smashing follow up to Sara Jo Cluff's Daphne's Questionable Bet.
Xander has rudely dumped Taylor and she wants nothing more than to make him pay. Of course, her besties come to her rescue. Let the hijinks begin! Seriously, these girls give me #friendshipgoals. This book is laugh out load funny while dealing with real topics like family, love, second chances, body image, and more. Cluff takes these real world topics and makes her point through comedy but still gets the point across.
And we have to discuss the hotness that is Huntley! The cougar in this reader is coming out. Rarr! He's just so perfect. #bookboyfriend

Taylor’s Outrageous Vow, by Sara Jo Cluff, is a hilarious and fun Young Adult Romcom. The book is full of fun characters, outrageous pranks, and hilarious commentary that pulls you in from the start. Everything starts with Taylor Thomas in the aftermath of a recent breakup with her, now ex, boyfriend Zander.
Taylor is livid at Zander for the out-of-the-blue breakup, and his instant betrayal at dating a new girl just a few days later. With the help of her best friends, Daphne and Veronica, they create a Vow of Vengeance, and plan out pranks on Zander to get revenge. Taylor balances a family of six brothers, her best friends, and her new Vow all while swearing off boys and romance. Meanwhile one of her brothers brings home his very hot college roommate who is staying with their family for the summer.
This book reads like you’re watching your favorite sitcom and makes you laugh just as much! While there are hilarious pranks and scenarios all throughout the book, it's the connection between characters that really draws you in. Each character and interaction feels genuine and brings the essence of teen life and drama. This may be the second book in the series, however it very easily reads as a standalone and is so worth the read!
Overall, I would recommend this to lovers of romcoms at any age. The book is a cute and funny page turner that will leave you wanting more! (Which luckily, there is!)

Finally, I have found the one... the one that got me out of the reading slump, I mean 😁.
On this beautiful day of love, let me present to you this amazing book, perfect for all the fans of a good rom-com.
• The plot is simply hilarious, witty, adventurous with lots of pranks and sneak attacks, and some beautiful lovey - dovey moments.
• As for the characters, well, they are a lot. I mean, six brothers and their families is quite a handful. Plus all the friends and other supporting characters is just... Whew 💨
But you never lose track of them, by the time you reach the end, you will be able to name each and everyone of them without any trouble at all. All these characters with their unique quirkiness makes the story very lively.
• The best thing about this book, in my opinion, is how much you can relate to it. The author has done a wonderful job with the writing, making you feel like a part of the bunch. It actually feels like you are watching a movie, by a teenager, for teenagers. It's so much fun. She has also done an amazing job with writing about some sensitive relationship topics in such a simple and easy manner.
• Taylor is understanding yet a little stubborn. Never backs away from a fight. Has all the qualities a fun - loving quirky teenager needs. Huntley is that dreamy boy with a dark background. I, personally, could relate to Ryker the most. Except for the gecko 👀.
• I loved how the author introduced each and every character to the plot, especially Huntley. And how she managed to keep the fun and life throughout the story. The beautiful ending was just the cherry on top you needed.
• The relationship and dynamic between the family and friends are so pure. It's like that dream family you wanted.
• I absolutely loved the book. I loved everything about it. I got so immersed in the story that I didn't even realise when it ended. This is the book that you didn't know you needed.

Taylors outrageous vow!
Review:
Story: This story is absolutely adorable, the conflicts are relatable and were entertaining as heck, It’s a great story. I highly recommend this one for anyone who likes good characters and has a good sense of humor. You’ll feel like pulling these pranks on your own ex boyfriends/girlfriends.
I do recommend reading Daphne first though, only because the background characters and their conflicts probably won't make much sense otherwise. People have said you can read this one first but I don't recommend it. But don’t worry, Daphne is amazing and you’ll want to read both anyway.
Characters: I love the complex characters in this series, every character is different. They have their own hopes, dreams, flaws, and best of all, you remember them; I can’t name the number of books that I forgot the names of the best friend or sibling character. I also admire the consistency of the characters; Daphne was the star like always and she still continued to shine and gave me hope and made me feel understood. She’s still my favorite character of the series despite how much I relate a lot to Taylor too.
Taylor’s family is amazing, I’d read a book about any of her brothers. They were so fun to read about. (Actually, I think I’d read anything Sara wrote; I’d read a book about a rock if she wrote one.)
Writing: The author's writing has clearly evolved from the first book to now. I actually would go as far to say this book was better than Daphne, though I hate saying that since Daphne will always have a special place in my heart.
These books are amazing, and I can’t wait to read what the author writes next.

A good revenge story is one where people don’t end up dead or severely injured. Taylor’s Outrageous Vow makes it into the ‘good’ revenge story list. All the pranks that Taylor and her friends pull, as well as the not-so-great repercussions, left me both laughing and cringing. I can’t say that I enjoyed this one as much as Daphne’s Questionable Bet, but I did feel sorry for Taylor and was right there with her with each scheme she concocted to get back at Zander. Taylor’s large family is also very relatable, however, I grew up in a family of almost all girls, so the energy of her family is a little different.
I’ve never been in a relationship, so I can’t say I fully sympathized with Taylor and the others, but overall, Taylor’s Outrageous Vow is simultaneously a comical and somewhat heartbreaking read perfect for Valentine’s Day.

I honestly didn't know what to expect from this book when I picked it up. I knew it was a contemporary romance and I knew it was about a girl getting back at her cheating ex but apart from that, I went in with a clear and empty mind.
I really liked the premise of Taylor's Outrageous Vow. It follows Taylor who decides that the best way to move on from her ex boyfriend is to get her revenge. But as revenge plots turn from small little harmless pranks into something bigger and more hurtful, Taylor has to find the courage to stand up for what she believes in. The book is all about making bad decisions and big mistakes and learning from them to become a better person.
I also enjoyed the cast of characters too. I liked all the brothers Taylor had and how they all had a distinct personality that you could tell apart. My favourite characters had to be Samson and Ryker though. I didn't feel as much of a connection with the other brothers but I think it's because the emphasis was really put onto the aforementioned. I also liked Huntley and I liked seeing the slow burn between him and Taylor but I do think a romantic connection wasn't necessary or essential to the storyline. The story still would've been successful if Huntley and Taylor remained platonic especially since characterisation and Taylor overcoming her desire for vengeance was the main plot and arc of the story.
The reason why the book is a four star read for me is mainly just because I didn't feel the spark of a typical five star read. Overall though, I liked the story and would recommend it to young-middle YA readers.
ACTUAL RATING: 3.6 STARS

The way YA contemporaries are supposed to be! Fun, touching, exciting, and larger than life. Oh to be a teenager with Huntley in Disneyland!

This book is my first read for Sara jo Cluff. As a fellow Dr Pepper lover and a Disney Geek myself I have enjoyed following Sara Jo Cluff on Instagram I wanted to read her arc of this book purely out of curiosity on what a book that she wrote would look like since Mrs. Cluff has such a fun personality online; I have enjoyed her antics and zeal for life for a year and did not know what I was going into reading this YA Rom-com story.
I swear after reading this book that the author must have been secretly following me around at high school because her characters are so relatable to me and I find so much of myself in Daphne. The story is charming in the way of Jane Austen’s Emma where you fall in love with a group of friends and you find yourself in the pages.
Taylor’s need for revenge after her boyfriend broke her heart is an age old story but the antics of the girls to enact the vow of vengeance is comical and hilarious. I laughed so much reading this book, I found the story to be genuine and heartwarming I loved the family dynamic so much. This book was just so much fun, I could not put it down. I can’t wait to read her other book and hope we will get a book about Veronica.

I was honored to be given an eARC of Taylor’s Outrageous Vow, but I am voluntarily leaving a review.
~~
FINAL VERDICT: 4 or 4.5 stars, rounding up. This was my first rom-com that I'd read in a long while (honestly, maybe since I read Daphne's Questionable Bet last year?), so it was nice to slip back into the genre with.
~~
If you liked Daphne’s Questionable Bet, I highly recommend this sequel/spin-off!
~~
Review: Taylor, Daphne, and Veronica are back and at it again. After being dumped, Taylor makes a vow that she will get revenge. In between all the hijinks and hilarity, will she find a chance at true love, or will she blow it?
~~
My favorite character this time around had to be Taylor’s brother (“Six,” as she calls him) Samson. I also really liked Ryker—it could have been really hard to balance such a large family, but I think Sarah Jo Cluff did a great job developing them all. I definitely want to read more about Samson and Ryker, please!
~~
Is it weird that I absolutely loved a lot of the side characters, maybe even more than the main characters? Don't get me wrong-- Taylor, Daphne, and Veronica were all great-- but the eclectic side characters just stole the show for me. (Did I mention how much I love Samson and Ryker?)
~~
Probably my biggest con was how things just sort of “happened”—someone suddenly had a reason to help Taylor out with her vow of vengeance that wasn’t really hinted at before, just for the sake of “we need this person for the plot.” This happened just a few times, though, so it wasn’t overwhelmingly distracting.
~~
And the romance? I won’t spoil who Taylor ends up with (because I kept wondering if I was right about certain people or if I’d be wrong), but I approve. Very much so.
~~
Who I would recommend this to: fans of contemporary romance, YA fans, Sarah Jo Cluff fans (because if you liked Daphne’s Questionable Bet, I’d *bet* you’d like this one…okay sorry for the pun, I had to), someone looking for a funny, light read.
~~

Have you ever wanted revenge against your ex?
Have you ever actually done anything?
Taylor is dumped by her boyfriend on her after dating for a year and two days later, he was already with someone new. With the arrival of her brother´s roommate and her friends, Taylor can´t wait to get started with her Vow of Vengence.
This may be one of my favorite YA books of the year since it was just so fantastic. I spent the whole night laughing my butt off. I stayed up late to finish this due to not being able to put it down. I think I read for three hours straight being so entranced with the characters and writing. The storyline was fantastic and the only thing that left me wanting for more was for there to be a sequel.
Taylor was such a fun character with her personality. Her crazy brothers made the story amazing with the way the SIX of them interacted with her and Ryker was my favorite. He is the definition of don´t date my friend with his antics in Disneyland and I loved it. The other brothers were cool, I guess, but Ryker was hilarious. Huntley. Oh, Huntley. He was the love interest that you can't help but love too. With his mysterious past and his ability to just go with the flow, complimented Taylor's every move, he was the perfect half to her and maybe my favorite character besides Taylor.
The Dr. Pepper appreciation in this book was unmatched. I am a huge fan of Dr. Pepper and seeing all of the love for it was so appreciated.
There is only one thing that I disapproved of in Taylor's Outrageous Vow. The fact that Taylor continued to call Huntley a criminal, even though she didn't know the full story. I didn't like that since she was kinda assuming. But that is actually my only complaint in this whole book.
Taylor's Outrageous Vow is the perfect book to read during this season. It has the angst of a boy breaking Taylor's heart, the pain of watching for him, and the joy of moving on.
Thank you to Monster Ivy for allowing me an advanced reader's copy of this wonderful book! It is available to the world on February 14th!

Wow, I wasn’t prepared for a blast from the past. This book reminded me of the pranks my friends and I used to play on unsuspecting victims as teenagers. I have to say they were a lot of fun even in my day, though not at ‘outrageous’ as Taylor’s. 😊
Taylor and her friends, Daphne and Veronica, team up to exact revenge on Taylor’s boyfriend, Zander, for breaking Taylor’s heart by dumping her for another girl. Hence, the inception of the infamous plan to get even: Taylor’s Vow of Vengeance, a sort of punitive expedition that set off a succession of hilarious and disastrous events. Though I found the pranks a little over-the-top, the author handled them in a way that didn’t make them seem overly cruel.
Sara Jo Cluff does a great job of portraying each character with hers or his own unique traits, making them distinctive and relatable. Taylor herself is such a fun personality. She’s hilarious, spunky and cute. The family dynamics and interaction were handled perfectly. I enjoy reading about large, close-knit families, so this was a huge plus for me. Taylor’s brother’s college roommate, the handsome, mild-mannered Huntley, was a nice addition to the lively bunch. This is a ‘clean’ YA romcom. The romance is constant and tangible, even without all the ‘steam’. It kept me up past my bedtime until I finished reading it.
I received this book for free from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

This book reminded me so much of an angsty, teen rom com movie and I think that’s why it was so fun to read. Taylor is broken-hearted and out for revenge, enlisting the help of her friends, brothers, and her brother’s college roommate, Huntley. Through all of this, Taylor develops as a character and realizes she is much more than just the boy who dumped her.
The supporting characters are really great here - between her six brothers, her parents, and her friend group. I love that she has numbered her brothers for nicknames and the family felt genuine. Taylor’s friend group is wonderful - they are sympathetic to her cause and when one of her friends is in a toxic relationship, they band together around her. I love that it’s tight-knit group of girls.
I read this in one shot. It’s a quick read, but that doesn’t make it any less fun to read. It’s a great YA rom com, perfect for this time of year.

I loved this book so much! I don’t think a book has ever made me laugh as much as this one did. I loved the characters and their personalities. It was a fun, quick, pick-me-up read.

This YA rom-com is everything!!
So sweet, and fun and hilarious!
I absolutely loved the characters and the family dynamic and getting to see all the high jinx that they got up to!
Also the Disneyland scene was a personal favourite!

From the first sentence, my thought with this book was “boys are stupid, throw rocks at them.” Anyone else remember that shirt from high school in the 2000s?
Anyways. This book is not my typical genre, but I was offered an ARC in exchange for an honest review and I thought why not? I’ve been in a book slump, let’s try something new.
Now I do like RomCom movies, so I was intrigued to read a RomCom and it didn’t disappoint.
I’ll be honest, I didn’t like the vengeance side of things. I don’t know if you have to read Daphne’s book to see Xander and Taylor together, but I didn’t see him as deserving (at first) of the hate that was being poured out. AND I must point out that I was dumped on my prom night as well 🤣
I will say though the in chapter one when you see Taylor reacting to the breakup (the scene when you meet the first brother) was hilarious. I want to see that scene in a movie.
Next, no spoilers, but her meeting with the “hot college roommate” had me rofl.
What I Liked:
- the humor, this is definitely a funny book.
- the friends: I loved Daphne, Veronica, and Taylor. This book made me interested in reading Daphne’s story, especially with her interactions with her boyfriend which I’m pretty sure she meets in a previous book. And I’m pretty sure there has to be a book for Veronica in the future and if not, there should be with a certain brother *wink wink*
- the setting with the huge family, can’t say I relate, but it kept the story engaging.
What I didn’t like -
- I’m never a fan of vengeance regardless of what a person did.
- Even though the pranks were funny, because we come in to the story after the breakup, I wasn’t connected enough to the story to really cheer on Taylor’s antics.
Ultimately I enjoyed the book as a fun light read. Perfect for fans of clean YA romance comedy with some drama and angst.

Taylor's Outrageous Vow by Sara Jo Cluff was FANTASTIC and will easily go down as one of the most humorous stories I've ever had the pleasure of reading!
Here are a few reasons I think you should read it too!
•𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴
•𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲
•𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰
•𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴
•𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗼 𝗳𝘂𝗻 (𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁!)
This story has soo many things going for it that its hard to stop smiling while reading (it almost needs to come with a warning “don’t read in public, for you will be smiling like a loon”).
I loved Sara Jo Cluff’s style of writing as it had me fully invested in her characters from chapter one. She made Taylor seem so realistic (if a bit outrageous) and someone I could see myself being friends with.
The only terrible thing about the book was that it ended. I didn’t want it too!
I 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗬 recommend this book, and I can’t wait to read more books from Sara Jo Cluff!

We are not even going to talk about how late this book kept me up. It was wayyy too late but I regret nothing. I just could not stop and so I read it in one sitting. Sibling relationships, Huntley, revenge, romance, and humor = pure magic.
.
I was drawn into Taylor’s world immediately. The characters were all super lively and fun to follow. They had personality and were unique. They all felt like they were there for a purpose and not to simply clutter the pages. And oh my goodness! I was laughing so much! The humor woven throughout the entire story was so great! And Huntley!! Need I say more? But I will anyways because I want to fangirl. He was absolutely amazing! His character was just, ahh! *literal heart eyes* And the romance!!! *literal heart eyes again* The prank wars were so entertaining to read about.
.
I will definitely be reading more by Sara Jo Cuff. I love her writing style and the humor her stories are doused with.

Wow reading this story made me feel so light, it’s a refreshing wave of vengeance. Here you have a teenage drama, with a family so wonderful, and friends closer than family, added along with pranks like never before and a heartbroken with future positivity in the way.
Taylor is the youngest and only daughter to her parents with six sons. She’s no less than a boy and is strong-headed, has two besties who mean the world to her. Just being with them cheers her up. The story begins with her breakup with her boyfriend and then that leads to vows of vengeance and it was fun to read the details of it. Taylor is mostly two buns, leather jackets, and some cool accessories. I love her description in the story.
Huntley is Taylor’s brother's roommate who has come over the summer to spend time with them for the first time and becomes a part of the roller coaster ride. The story is very well written and is fast-paced with the right amount of emotions. Enjoyed every bit of it.

This was a sweet and cute YA romcom about a girl, Taylor, that gets dumped by her boyfriend, Zander. Taylor creates a Vow of Vengeance to get back at the ex-boyfriend. The vow basically includes amped up pranks and Taylor is aided by her two best friends to help carry out these plans.
One of Taylor’s 6 brothers has brought his college roommate, Huntley, home for the summer. Even thought Taylor has sworn off guys, Taylor feels different around Huntley then she ever did around her Zander.
I loved the way that Taylor’s family all supported her and I love the positive family communication portrayed in this book.
The dialogue is snappy and the funny scenes are very entertaining.
There is a family trip to Disneyland and a yard getting toilet papered! Who doesn’t love that in a romcom read.
A clean read that has real life issues discussed such as anxiety and relationship choices. It also is full of positive energy among friends and family.

Taylor's Outrageous Vow was such a fun book! Taylor was recently and unexpectedly dumped by her boyfriend, and she and her best friends have now made a Vow of Vengeance against him. They're going to play pranks on him so he can experience the same confusion Taylor did when he dumped her. At the same time, Taylor's six brothers and their families are coming into town to celebrate their Dad's birthday, and one brother brought his college roommate. Taylor feels a connection to Huntley, but he's older and she just got out of a relationship so really she should stay away from him.
This book was hilarious! Taylor's brothers were honestly the highlight and I loved their different personalities. They were so fun and added so much heart and levity to the story. Plus Taylor's best friends, Daphne and Veronica, along with Daphne's boyfriend, are just great. Truly the whole cast of characters were good. The romance between Taylor and Huntley was really sweet and hopeful. This was a perfect Valentine's day read and just a lot of fun.

While I'm so picky when it comes to YA romance, I truly enjoyed this romp about family, finding yourself, and and true love. This is everything a YA romantic comedy should be -- fun, an upbeat pace with humor, and characters we relate to and love. I felt all the sunshiny feels while reading Taylor's Outrageous Vow, and I especially related to how she comes from a large family, which you rarely see in teen fiction but I adore seeing.
The ending was swoon-worthy while maintaining a believable story that leaves you wanting more. PLUS the teens are actually teens. Haha. I'm so tired of picking up an YA where I feel like none of the teens act their age!
I'm going to have to buy this book in person!!!

I kind of related to Taylor in a way because, I have two older brothers and when I was in high school they were a bit overprotective and always asking with who and where I was going. So I can't imagine with 6 older brothers. The face that Huntley is latin made him hotter than I already had pictured him. Him cursing and speaking in Spanish was just perfect. BUT, the whole revenge plot didn't really capture me. I really expected her to go all out, but it felt just childish and boring. Also, I felt that for Taylor, Huntley was just a rebound. But Huntley he really liked her, genuinely liked her and that bothered me a bit.
