This is a beautifully illustrated children's book about heritage and who you are. It is really nice to see Asian characters and history shown and I feel its a lovely book for the right reader.
As a children's book I felt sometimes the story felt too wordy and didn't flow as well as I'd have expected but it really is a beautiful looking book which I appreciate.

Very beautiful illustrations.
About being proud to be Chinese, however a bit too focused on being from China as a place so my child could not relate and found it off-putting, but if your family are from mainland China they might like it, HK and other places might want to skip though.
