A wonderful story of a mermaid who has lost her purse which is found washed up on shore, by a little girl called Holly. A lovely friendship develops as they write letters to each other and share little gifts. You are totally drawn into the story with the beautiful undersea illustrations and real little letters to unfold and read.

False advertising on the cover!!!! The paperback doesn’t include letters even though it says it does on the cover! FYI a picture of a letter is NOT a letter. I’m absolutely gutted and Book Depository won’t accept a return unless i pay for postage which costs more than the value of the book. Make sure you get the hardcover! the paperback is sooooo disappointing
