ریلکه شاعر و نویسنده تاثیرگذاری است و این هم اولین مجموعه داستانی که من از این نویسنده خوانده ام. به نظر می رسد که این کتاب مجموعه داستانهائی است گردآوری شده توسط مترجم چه چنین عنوانی که به گمان من باید ترجمه
danse macabre
و یا
Totentanz
باشد نه در کار های ریلکه به گوش و چشم من رسیده بود و نه تلاش من برای پیدا کردن آن موثر واقع شد. به هر حال دستمایه برخی داستانها فوق العاده بود اما کتاب دارای اغلاط چاپی است و به نظر من ترجمه هم محتاج ویرایش
