Have you ever met someone and immediately knew they were meant to be yours?
If someone had asked me if I believed in love at first sight, I would have said no. But that was before I met Calli.
It’s not just that she’s the new girl in town and everyone is curious about who she is. It’s so much more than that. SHE is so much more.
Calli is a breath of fresh air, and I can’t help but notice how she lights up the room when she smiles.
She’s so down to earth, and even though I make a complete ass out of myself every time I try to speak to her, she doesn’t seem to mind. Heck, she even says yes when I ask her out.
Things are going great, and we’re truly connecting; because that’s what happens when you meet your soulmate. Until suddenly, they aren't.
Like the moment I drop the L-word and she doesn’t say it back.
Which is confusing because her actions say she loves me, even if she won't say it back.
Something is holding her back and keeping her from moving forward with me. I want to show Calli I’m there for her and that no matter what comes our way, we’ve got it. But how do you take one step forward when the other person is taking two steps back?

Samantha loves connecting with her readers, so here’s a list of where you can find her:
Calli just moved to Whiskey Mountain, opened her own business and is now the caretaker for her mother who was just diagnosed with dementia. Dylan spots Calli at an event in town she is catering at before she has her business up and running. Dylan immediately knows Calli is the woman for him. When Calli's business is open, he pays her a visit, and with some help from her bestie, Calli agrees to a date with Dylan.
Calli is one strong, dedicated lady. She packs up and moves many states away to move in with her mother and help take care of her. She also has dreams and opens a restaurant called Cravings, and serves whatever her mother is craving that day. Calli quickly learns that small towns come with big love when she starts feeling overwhelmed with everything.
Let's just say Calli is one lucky lady too. Where can I find me a Dylan? He's sweet all the time, and not so sweet at the perfect time. He worships Calli and, not to mention, Dylan actually listens to her and follows through! *swoon*
THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU IF: You love small town cinnamon rolls with big hearts.
I was so happy that Dylan got his story,I felt so bad for him in the previous book and Hoped that Samantha Baca had written the perfect woman for Dylan to fall in love with.....she did !! It is love at first sight for Dylan when he sees the new woman in town Calli...She had just opened up a new restaurant with her friend and Dylan was a regular customer. The problem is every time he comes close to Calli he gets tongue tied and says the most ridiculous thigs when she is around. Calli has moved to Whiskey Mountain to take care of her mum, starting a new chapter in her life opening up her own buisness also is alot of responsibility, but she tries to keep as upbeat as possible. Calli had also noticed Dylan hanging around and he was the most gorgeous man she has ever seen. I really loved this couple and Dylan is just so sweet and swoony but underneath all that sweetness is a sex god !!!..and he charms Calli and makes her feel safe. They date and start an easy friendship/relationship no labels, but Dylan falls fast and hard and wants more. Calli is not on the same page she loves Dylan but her mum is her number one priority and she thinks Dylan deserves better. Dylan and Calli are adorable together and Dylan finally finds his true love or does he ? This is a great romance and I thought that this one was a bit more emotional than the other 2 books,I think Calli's mother's situation really got to me a bit. It was heartbreaking and I got a bit teary when the whole town pulled together to help Calli out.,,all thanks to Dylan...I LOve Dylan his patience and understanding plus his sexiness makes him perfection. Something to Believe him is a fantastic edition to this series and I am eager for book 4 to finally arrive. I LOVED listening to it and the narration was wonderful as always by Jaime Carnucci and she makes it a delight to hear these characters come to life. Another Amazing story and audiobook. Excellent 5 Stars.

P.s - I am a huge Fan of this author's work, but I left wanting more from this one. But again that may be a me problem,so do give this one a try.
Calli recently moved from Miami to Montana to care for her widowed mother, who's been diagnosed with early-onset dementia. She's also opened her own restaurant, Cravings, in the new strip mall where roofer Dylan has been working for the past several months. Dylan's had a crush on Calli ever since she catered the grand opening of his friend Ramona's doggy daycare, but every time he sees her, he somehow manages to embarrass himself. Even so, when he finally works up the courage to ask her out, she says yes. At first, things go well between Dylan and Calli, but when the relationship starts to turn serious, she suddenly pulls away. He'll have to help her overcome her fears before they can find a path forward together.
I very much enjoyed this funny, sweet, and perfectly steamy story. It was cute how awkward Dylan was around Calli at first; he said so many unintentionally funny things! As for Calli, I couldn't help but empathize with everything she was going through with her mom, as well as her fears about getting involved with Dylan given everything she already had on her plate. She wasn't giving him (or herself) enough credit, however; he was more than capable of standing by her side and helping her carry her burdens, no matter what they were, and I loved the way he proved it to her in the end.
I highly recommend "Something to Believe In" for all steamy contemporary romance and rom-com fans and look forward to the author's next release.

This was my first time reading something by this author and it definitely won't be my last. Callie is new in town. She moved to Montana to take care of her mother who has been diagnosed with dementia. She has also opened up a new restaurant, so she's got a lot on her plate and is pretty busy. She also doesn't like to disappoint anyone, and she works hard to keep everyone in her life happy, even at the expense of her own happiness. Dylan has been crushing on her since she moved to town, but always seems to embarrass himself around her. He finally works up the nerve to ask her out, and they start dating pretty steadily. But when things turn serious, Callie pulls away, thinking it would be unfair to Dylan if they got more involved because he would get pulled into her complicated life. But Dylan is patient with her and doesn't give up on her and gives Callie the understanding and support she needs for her to realize that she deserves happiness and love, too.
An amazingly sweet story with likable, well-developed characters that I was immediately endeared to. I was rooting for them the whole time. I also loved the small town feel and the great friendships that have been built throughout the town. Glad to have had the opportunity to read this!

Excuse me, but where can I get my hands on a Dylan? Because he might be the sweetest man ever written about. Who wouldn’t love a MMC who is sweet, understanding, and listens to his partners actual needs? It probably doesn’t hurt that readers get to see some of our repeat BFFs from the other Whiskey Mountain books that wouldn’t ever let him be anything shy of an amazing boyfriend.
Then there’s Callie, who puts everyone above herself, even if it cost her her own happiness. As a small business owner and caretaker to her mom with dementia, she’s got a lot on her plate, and she’s so concerned about not letting anyone down or putting someone else in a uncomfortable position, she almost lets the man of her dreams slip right through her fingers.
I love the small town spirit and the amazing neighbors in this story. Samantha Baca hands down writes the best small town romances. She knows how to sprinkle the Whiskey Mountain series with the perfect amount of angst, spice, and love that comes together so naturally it feels effortless. Hurry up and get lost in Something to Believe In!
Love the town of Whiskey Mountain! This is such a cute story of Calli and Dylan. Calli recently relocated to WM to live with her mom and care for her as her mom battles early onset of dementia, she also owns Cravings. Dylan is a roofer and frequent patron of Cravings. Finally getting a shot to take out Calli for a date things progress and before he knows it he’s falling. Only he’s not sure she feels the same for him. With all the pressure of her business, caring for her mom and a relationship she’s not sure it’s fair to continue. With the help of friends and the small town these two find their happy ever after in Whiskey Town. To sum up this book it was such a sweet story of flirting building to spice and then ever after. Highly recommend reading the series. Although you could read as a standalone some of the characters from previous are included and helps for background.
Something To Believe In brings us back to small town Whiskey Mountain with the familiar characters we’ve grown to love, like Maggie and Ramona, and of course Dylan- so glad he FINALLY gets his story! But, it also brings us new characters to meet and fall for as well like Calli, Paisley and Maverick.
This book hits the spot in all the best ways- just like I imagine both Cravings and Dylan do. It had me laughing out loud throughout the story, rooting for the characters, kept a smile on my face and absolutely swooning over our hero.
As always, Samantha Baca brings her characters and their world to life in a way that keeps me invested in the story and turning the page until I’m sad that it’s over.
Samantha Baca doesn't disappoint! I love the latest installment in the Whiskey Mountain series. This one features Dylan and Callie. I love finding a shy sweet cinnamon roll hero who is so nervous around his crush that he get tongue tied! Even if he is shy at first he still manages to sweep Callie off her feet but will she allow herself to stay that way? Her life centers around her mother who is dealing with dementia and her new business. Callie doesn't feel like she has anything to give when it comes to being in a relationship. Don't miss this quick read if you are looking for a hot small town book with all the feels!

We are back in Whiskey Mountain, the same small town where we met Maggie, Owen, Ramona and Preston. I'm so happy we got Dylan's story. Calli is new to town. She has a very busy life. She just opened her own business and is the caregiver for her mother who has dementia.
Like with all of Samantha's books I've read this pulled me right in. Dylan definitely falls first, he just knows that Calli is his happily ever after. Calli does fall for Dylan however, she is completely overwhelmed with everything happening in her life.
Dylan is sweet and shy until well, he wasn't. How awesome for Calli. He just seems to know what she needs and when she needs it.

I am a huge Samantha Baca fan, but I found myself lost in this book - not lost in the "I can't put it down" way but more so how the characters knew each other, how it related to her other books, and how their love story evolved so quickly. There were a few time hops, but when push came to shove, it felt incomplete.
Was it still a heart-warming love story? Yes. Could I put it down? Yes. I normally finish a book in a day. This took over a week. I think this one just needed more.
With that said, this is a quick read and the characters have a cute story - give it perusal when you're looking for something mindless and simple.

Dylan finally gets his HEA. We knew he was all heart from his appearances in the two previous books in this series. Dylan is the best. He and Calli meet when he's still nursing a bit of a broken heart at the end of book two. But there's instant attraction and a spark that builds and builds. I love how Dylan gently but surely pursues Calli. He's so respectful of everything she has going on with her business and caring for her mom, while also ensuring that Calli knows he wants to be with her and to be there to help in any way he can. Calli experiences a lot of growth during the course of this book and Dylan meets her step for step. This is a novella so things occur and are resolved quickly, but there's still excellent character development and all the feels.
This is book 3 in Baca's Whiskey Mountain series. Another wonderful addition to this series but can easily be read as a standalone. Well written and full of heartwarming sweetness. Our main characters are Calli and Dylan. Calli has moved to Whiskey Mountain to care for her mom and has so much going on. Dylan is completely captivated by her but she's not sure it's fair to proceed with a relationship when she's not sure she can dedicate her all. A wonderful small town romance read that's balanced beautifully with all the sweet, a little heat and some humor all bundled into a heartwarming romance!

I got a sneak peak at who Dylan is in the other two books in this series but he was so much more than expected. Dylan may have stumbled at first with Calli but once he gets going he doesn’t stop🥵 opening his heart and offering the support she needs. Calli is kindhearted and so passionate in what she does, yet feeling like she’s failing and doesn’t deserve Dylan. This was the perfect small town romance, with laughs, tears and hot sex. The chemistry between the characters was spot on as I felt the emotions coming off the pages as I read and I couldn’t put it down. Dylan has defiantly been added to the book boyfriend list🥰
I was kind of eager to read this book after what went down in the last. Dylan’s feelings made me wonder how this book would go but I was so happy that he got a book. Callie is such a great character but my heart broke for her. I found myself feeling so awful for what she was going through, had gone through and what she was feeling. Life sometimes just isn’t fair and it’s heartbreaking. But Whiskey Mountain seems to help heal (or at least that’s what I choose to believe). This was such a great addition to the series and I am excited for the next book. Bring on more love!
Calli returns to Whiskey Mountain so that she can take care of her mum who has just been diagnosed with dementia.
Calli opens a store called Cravings and it is here that she meets roofer Dylan.
I liked the chemistry between the two characters, there were some funny moments, I loved Pablo! This is a small town romance with great characters and I really enjoyed reading Calli and Dylan’s story. This was a new author for me but I will definitely read her other books now.

Oh my . I think Dylan and Calli are one of my favorites 😍 Her flirty, cautious, loving, caring self mixed with Dylan is just a spark ready to happen . Her love and dedication to her mom just makes my heart soar. Then you have , of course the small town living , with all the support .. Dylan and Calli have a spark that ignites and I love how they feel so real and work thru issues and support one another once they work through their issues. Defiantly a favorite of mine !! And of course you can not down play their chemistry that's super intense and hot as heck!!!

You have never met a sweeter cinnamon roll hero than Dylan! This love story is so extra sweet with sugar and syrup on top! The love tale of Dylan and Calli meeting is, he falls first and she's not far behind, but she is very unsure of a lot of things regarding her happiness. This will have you screaming at her character and wanting her to smarten up! A sweet backstory of her love for her mother brings a heart-wrenching element and cue the tears! I can't wait to read about the next love story in this quaint small town!
This book brings us back to the small town of Whiskey Mountain. Callie has just opened a new restaurant after relocating to Whiskey Mountain to take care of her mother. Dylan is a hard working roofer that happens to be working close by. While this story is about Dylan and Callie we do see characters from the previous books. This story is an adorable, quick read with the perfect amount of spice. Plus I was excited to hear an update on Pablo and Leroy 😆 I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily
This is the third book in the Whiskey Mountain series and it is my favorite! Not only did Dylan get his story, he got to show off his inner cinnamon roll hero (lucky Callie). If you are looking for a quick read that pulls you in with all the feels and a perfect level of spice, this is the perfect book for you. Even though this is the third book in a series, you can read this book as a standalone and explore your favorite support characters at your leisure.
Slow Burn Romance.. Calli and Dylan's story was impactful storyline..filled with love, heart, perseverance, family and great friends. Small town feels… heartwarming topics dear to people's heart and mind… makes this such a delightful read. You will find yourself escaping to this town and living in their world for awhile. Makes me wish for a "Cravings" near me to go eat out at and catch up with the latest gossip!!

Something To Believe In by Samantha Baca is a good, and enjoyable steamy small town romantic comedy read. The story has a great entertaining world building story line. The characters are great, and they have great chemistry. This story is a very entertaining slow burn heart warming romance read with just the right amount of spice. I absolutely enjoyed this story! The first two chapters just kicked off how sweet this new tale in Whiskey Mountain was going to be - as usual we got to revisit some old characters which is always fun. The way in which Dylan and Calli interact with each other and how they do little things for each other just made me melt throughout the book. I would recommend reading this new book from Samantha Baca!
Dylan and Calli were such a fun couple to read. They are both quirky and shy, which makes for some awkward encounters. Sweet as honey Dylan came out of nowhere with his dirty mouth, and I was here for it. Calli and her restaurant were such a special storyline involving her moms cravings, and I think a place like that should exist. I loved catching up with Maggie and Ramona and excited to hear what kind of chaos Paisley and Maverick cook up .
I was privileged to get the ARC of this book, and it was my first by Samantha Baca, and it did not disappoint. This was an incredibly sweet, feel-good love story that had my emotions rolling! I loved how sweet Dylan was with Calli and how Calli so lovingly cared for her mom. It hit a nerve with me having just gone through this with my grandmother. Brought a few tears to my eyes and had my heart swelling. It's a quick fun read with some spice that you should go grab immediately.
Cali and Dylan's story. Cali owns a café and Dylan is one of her customers. She moved to town to take care of her mother and open her own business. Dylan thinks she is the one for him, but Cali is too busy to notice. He is patient and waits for a chance with her. If you like stories with no cheating ex's and two people learning to love again and hot steamy sex. This is the book for you
When a book makes me laugh and cry, I'm laugh so hard. I'm crying, it deserves 5 stars. This book had me laughing so hard. I was crying within 27 pages. Dylan's awkward rambling and Calli's bold shyness keep you intrigued. I love when characters have to work through real world problems. And this author did so so beautifully with these characters.
