This book is gold! As a woman in ministry, I often feel misunderstood. In comes this book… written by a woman in ministry who gets it. She’s lived it and grown from it and has a real heart for helping others live it and grow from it. This book brings up the dirt but then fills your heart with scripture and stories and encouragement to help you not stay there. It’s practical in the best ways. I found myself journaling as I read and writing “yes!!!” In tons of places. This book is a must read for women in ministry, their leaders and pastors and really anyone who wants to grow as a disciple. It’s not a book that spends page after page debating egalitarianism vs complementarianism. It is not taking one side or another. It presents issues and then presents how we should think or work through things based on what the Bible says. Get it. Read it. Grow. Be encouraged to stay the course.

In Ministry Chick, author Melissa Mashburn helps answer the question of “Who do you think you are?” Looking at the truth of God’s word, seeking wisdom, and allowing Him to define their identity, Melissa encourages leaders to fully lean into the call to be His daughter and His leader in the Church—His voice to a lost and lonely world.

I would love to invite you to check out my newest book, if you are a woman in the ministry, then this book is for you! You can order a copy anywhere you buy your books.
