Overall, I enjoyed this book. Although some of what was presented was speculative and introduced as factual, and some of what was written is a regurgitation of wealth transfer messages, I found the book written with an eye towards the practical side of moving in the faith message.
Yes, this book tackles the serious issue of unbelief in the church regarding wealth. And it speaks against the spirit of mammon, which was cultivated in the Faith movement and caused many believers to have their faith derailed.
Z speaks against that kind of message in favor of a message that promotes the gospel of Christ. That’s his primary focus and purpose for acquiring wealth. And I agree with this kind of perspective. We need money to spread the gospel. Yes!
So, I love the message of the book, Breaking Hell’s Economy, which speaks for wealth but against greed. And places riches in relationships not just money. We need this message in the church today.
My primary reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is speculation presented as fact. As ministers, we should make sure people understand the difference and clearly explain that difference (I am not against the stories told. They may have a basis in history, and could be true. But we don’t know for sure; it’s pure conjecture.) I wish the author had explained that.

This book is a powerful and prophetic message for the Church in these last days. Joseph Z reveals how God has a supernatural economy that is superior to the world’s system and how we can access it through faith, obedience and generosity. He also exposes the lies and schemes of the enemy that try to keep us in lack and fear. This book will inspire you to live in God’s abundance and blessing and to be a blessing to others.
