When your stalker just won’t quit, and the hot biker assigned to be your protector only sees you as his best friend’s little sister…

A crazed stalker could be the worst of my problems.

But then my brother, Hash, sends me on the run with the only man he trusts with protecting me - Bones.

Tough, tatted-up, ripped and irresistible, he’s the man I’ve been lusting after forever.
But to him, I’m forbidden fruit.

Being stuck together with the man of my dreams could be the ideal opportunity to show him that I'm no longer a little girl, but a woman worthy of his attention.

When he looks at me, I want to see his face lit up with desire, not a gentle teasing smile.

But his loyalty to my brother and the nightmares of his past have made Bones put up an icy wall around his heart.

And I’m determined to find a way to melt it and banish the demons that chase him.

That is, if my lunatic stalker doesn’t get to me first.

Because danger follows us wherever we go.

Can we stamp it out before it’s too late?

And when it's all over, will we be able to look past the taboos and dark secrets, or will that be the end of the road for us?

"Bones" is the 13th book in the "Dark Slayers MC” hot and alluring romance series featuring bikers who will remind you why you like the bad boys so much. They’re protective, rough, and running on pure diesel and adrenaline.
Each book in the series is a standalone with a guaranteed happily ever after for the couple, though it is recommended to read them in order for maximum enjoyment.

Fred has been a disaster in the last few books. Young and immature in lots of ways his mouth has gotten him into serious trouble but given a second chance he is doing everything he needs to get his patch

I loved Bones as a character and felt so much for him. He was so much deeper than anyone actually saw, except April.

Even his so called best friend pretty much though he was just a screw up and it really hurt my heart when he and the club said he wasn’t needed and so was the only one available to look after April, making him question himself again and his place with the club. It did make me question why the club would act like that when Fred/Bones had tried so hard. I liked that Hacker seemed to step up for him through.

April was mature for her age, forced to grow up quickly when orphaned, she had rapidly outgrown her brothers protective ways once she hit 18.

I liked she knew what she wanted, I liked Bones resisting his feelings (for good reason) in the beginning and how they finally came together.

Lots more depth to this than you might have imagined from what you knew of Fred from previous books.

Another good addition to the series.

Aria Ray does not disappoint. I am addicted to this series! Fred (Bones), April and Hash have been friends for a long time and are more like family ever since April and Hash lost their parents 5 years ago. April is the little sister who wants Bones to see her as a woman and not just as his best friend’s little sister. April will pull out all the stops to make this happen. But what happens when April turns 18 and a few of the brothers start asking her out! Bones cringes at the thought but knows that she deserves better than him.

When Sherry gets her feelings hurt because everyone wants April, her brother is out to find April and her brother Hash to get revenge for her. Bones takes April and they hide out. During this time, they become even closer than before. But will a secret from the past tear them apart? And what happens when another stalker enters the picture? Great characters, great story! Drama, action, darkness, trafficking, revenge, romance, secrets, and truths can be found throughout the whole book. I am looking forward to the next book in this series and hope that it is not the last! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Bones is the thirteenth book in the Aria Ray’s Dark Slayers MC series. It is a romantic suspense MC story filled with passion, danger and a protective alpha biker who will do anything to protect the woman he loves.

The connection and sparks between April Wellington and her older brother’s best friend, Fredrick “Bones” Pearson has been evident in the previous books of this amazing series. Now that April has come of age, Bones will stop at nothing to protect the women he has grown to love, especially not an overprotective brother and best friend or a crazed stalker. But will secrets from Bones past destroy his chance at a happily ever after? Read it and find out!

This book can be read as a standalone, because Ray does an amazing job summarizing plots from earlier in the series, but reading the series in order gives the reader a deeper understanding of the Dark Slayers MC life. I can’t wait to read the next story in this amazing series!

Bones is the thirteenth book in the Dark Slayer MC series. The books are intertwined but can probably be read as standalones. The series itself is phenomenal, with the backdrop of a group of former military men coming together to form an MC to support one another as they battled the physical and mental aftermath of their time in service to our country.

Bones is beyond engaging and compelling, with a lot of drama, action, MC action, multiple storylines that converge into a big showdown, betrayal, a few shocking surprises, a rescue, a romance long in the making, and so much more. Fred, aka Bones, and April were truly made for each other, and you see that without the story becoming sappy. We experience both dealing with their own demons and learning that the world works better for them when they are working it together. Don't judge a book by its cover comes to mind when reading this book.

I look forward to more from the Dark Slayers MC family. Maybe it's time for Rusty to find love again.

This is part of the Dark Slayers MC series each book can be read as a standalone, connecting via the MC members each with a sexy member finding his old lady 😊. Bones sexy as all get out member of the Dark Slayers who has traumas he deals with daily from childhood, growing up with an alcoholic father living with the nightmare from him killing his best friend’s parents in a car accident making it hard for him to be in social situation and hard to deal with others. April the sister to his best friend is intelligent, sassy, crushed on her brother’s best friend and now that she is old enough, she knows who she wants with plans of going after him. She made it her mission to open his eyes, his mind on that she is all women but she also see him, his awkwardness and knows when to leave him be but is it enough, will he wake up seeing what’s right in front in him, how will her brother feel about the two of them, and can they find their much needed HEA?.

If you have read the other books in this series Fred/Bones is lacking social skills and really does not think before he speaks. His best friend Hash is patched in before him due something Fred said about an old lady, his friend went to bat for him. Fred is thinking all kinds of things about Hash's younger sister, April, when she turns eighteen she makes sure he knows that she is intent on making him hers.

He thinks she deserves better than him and tries to push her away, but fate has other views on the matter. April is determined to get her man she is not going let him make any excuses. There is a secret he is carrying that he will never tell the pair.

There is so much about Fred, you just want to hug him, all the trauma he suffered growing up. He is absolute sweetheart even if he does not see it.

Cannot wait for the next in the series.

Bones is the 13th book in the series and the brothers of the Dark Slayers MC are a favorite. Bones did not have the best childhood, especially when his drunk father killed his best friend's parents in a car accident. He still has nightmares about that day, which has caused societal anxiety issues and made him awkward around others. Hash is still his best friend, but he has never thought of April as a little sister. When she finally turns 18, she knows what she wants, which is Bones, and doesn't hesitate to go for it. I loved how she pushed him to see her differently, but she also knew when to back off. She saw Bones for who he was, not the screw up everyone else sees. As the story progesses and with April at his side, he is able to develop into the man he should be and worthy of being a Dark Slayer.

Bones has been friends with April and her brother since childhood and they share a tragedy. One caused by his father, but he and Hash remained friends. When April gets a stalker, Hash sends her away with the only man he trusts to keep her safe Bones. April has crushed on Bones since a little girl but he only, but he never saw her as a little sister. Now they are joined together until they can deal with the stalker. Will April get past Bone's barrier to his heart and get him to see her other than Hash's little sister and will it lead them to a happily ever after? This story kept me caught up in their story from start to finish!

The Bone Man….IYKYK 😉

Fred/Bones was a surprise for me. Especially after getting to know more about him in Hash’s book, I didn’t really think I would like him as much as I did. I loved seeing April, Hash’s sister, help give Fred the confidence to go from being Fred the prospect to Bones the Slayer. He needed someone as fierce and protective of him as April was. His history with April and Hash had me in tears a few times during the story, but it just gave the story a real feel. As usual, there was plenty of humor, action, danger, and spice during the story from beginning to end. Once I started I couldn’t stop. I can’t wait to finally get Rust’s story next!!!.

Aria Ray has been one of my favorite MC authors for a while now, so when I saw she had a Dark Slayers (book 13!!) out, I literally JUMPED at the chance to grab a copy to review! And like her previous books, this one does NOT disappoint. It has her trademark action, drama, some (maybe) overly intense moments depending on sensitive the readers are, and of course the romance, all thrown together into a large melting pot.

Bones has been an interesting character for a while, and I am thrilled he FINALLY got his own book, as he deserves his own HEA, and this book just makes me love him more than I already did. All I can say now is, bring on book 14, because this book just teased us, wetting our palate for more of your tasty treats!

Loved It

This is another installment of the Dark Slayers MC it is yet again another five-star read for me. I loved the twists and turns this author always throws at me along with the steam that comes off the pages. I was so happy to see that Bones is finally getting his book.

Bones, Hash and his sister, April, have been friends for a long time. Of course it would be Bones that Hash would ask to protect his sister. April has crushed on Bones for a long time and now with them spending more time together it’s time to change Bone’s mind about them, their age be damed.

Once I started this book, I couldn’t put it down. This author always has a way of grabbing me and not letting go until the last page is turned. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next with Rust.

This is part of the Dark Slayers MC series and although each book can be read as a standalone these are currently on Kindle Unlimited so read them all soon. This is seriously a binge-worthy series. Although in Hash's book I didn't think too much of Bones (Fred), he turned out to be quite a compelling character. Hash and his sister, April, have been friends with Bones for a long time. So when April needs protection, Hash asks Bones, not knowing that he is very attracted to his BF little sister, and she is attracted to him. The book is well paced, full of MC action, drama, sizzle, steam, and some twists and turns. Great read.

This is the Dark Slayers MC series, Book 13. These books are intertwined but can probably be read as amstand-alone but I always recommend reading in order as I think you get the most out of it. I have enjoyed this series of former military men coming together to form an MC to support one another. Each story revolves around one man and his particular difficulties having spent time in the theatre of war. This story revolves around April and Bones. The characters are complicated and lovely and you you can’t help but root for them.

If you have read any of the previous Dark Slayer MCs in this series, you have met Bones before, which means you may have liked him, or you may have hated him.
I knew I was going to love him. When an author makes a side character so unlikeable in another book, I know they set them up for a heartbreaking backstory and character development. Aria Ray delivered with Bones.
His story and love story with April is perfect; I love how they grow together, it's slow much, not too slow, just enough because of ages and friendships, and then it just takes off. They both deserve love and are perfect for each other.

This story was really good with a fast paced storyline. April is finally old enough to pursue Bones who she's crushed on for a long time. Bones is really sexy but he deals with his tramas daily. He's not very good in social situations and people one on one. April is Hash's sister and when April and Bones get together there is no ridiculous fighting between Bones and Hash. I love how April was single minded about going after Bones and let him know about it. I enjoyed the story and can't wait to read the next book.

Fred. Loveable Fred always screwing up n putting he's foot in he's mouth, so much so he nearly lost his patch before he even got it.

But over the last year watching April grow into her own has played mind games with him he's always admired her but he's heart wants more but he feels like he's not good enough for her. It's a good thing April knows what she wants and won't give up on him she's been crushing on him for years.

If there were ever two characters right for one another it was these two! I was so excited when I found out Bones was getting his book. So happy that Hash was good with the relationship and that it didn’t lead to an argument between them all. The three of them have been through enough in their lives. Glad they were able to get their HEA. The next book is going to be an interesting one for sure! Can’t wait to see what is in store for Rust.

April has a stalker so jer brother gets his fellow MC best friend to protect her
What happens when she shows her true feelings towards Bones and they spend an exuberant amount if time together? They get together of course despite her brothers expectation. Will Bones be able to protect her from her stalker? Danger is around every corner for these two. Great addition to the series. I cannot wait for the next in the series.

Bones, makes you wonder how he got that moniker. You'd be surprised. Bones has been a family friend to Hash and his sister April for a long time. They share a tragedy from the past, but now that April is coming of age, she wants to share something else with Bones. An interesting and dramatic story with some experienced and educated characters.

April has been getting texts from her ex that are gradually worsening, but she is ignoring them as she doesn't believe them. Her brother finds out and asks his clubs prospect and friend Fred (Bones)to protect her.

April hopes she can use the forced proximity to open Bones eyes and show that she is worthy of him. Meanwhile Fred is trying to protect her and deny how he feels.

I loved this story.

This is the 13th book in this incredible series, and this is Bones and April’s journey. When April becomes the target of a stalker, her brother Hash asks Bones, his best friend, to protect and keep her safe. This is a well written fast paced story, with family, friendships, danger, suspense, intrigue, trust, emotions, loyalty, trauma, and love, which leads to an addictive page turner.

Pretty bad

The writing was all over the place. The characters were under developed. The story was boring and hard to follow. A stalker. A crazy club girl. Some weird PI taking pictures of h. I gave up on even trying to figure out what the author was trying to write about. And there was ZERO chemistry and zero spice. One of the worst MC books I’ve read (and I’ve read hundreds). This is not an author I’ll read again.

Great!

I chose this rating because this is actually a pretty great book. I really enjoy most of all of the characters. This was a book of protection, kindness, compassion acceptance and the realizing your the right one for her. I really enjoyed Fred(Bones) and April story. I think the author did a great job with putting these characters together. Pretty great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers and MC lovers.

Bones is someone you can't help but like & at the same time roll your eyes at. So misunderstood at times & venerable. April though young is strong & determined. I love how she holds fast on her feelings. Throw in action that kept coming, this had all the feels & sizzling heat.

Fred (Bones) had grown up with Hash and his sister April and though their pasts entwine in grief and destruction both April and Fred had been drawn to another. Fred had been seen more as a screw up at times but when it comes to April he's all in. Well written engaging action drama, twists and more.
