William Z. Foster was one the most recognized and respected labor leaders and Communists inU.S. history. Really enjoyable book about a great American communist. highly readable and important for anyone who wants to know more about the American Communist movement. This book demonstrates not only how great of a Marixst-Leninist Foster was but also how great of a publishing house International Publishers is. The book also gives great detail into the internal struggle against revisionism in the CPUSA against the social democrats Joe Gates and Earl Browder. I never realised how useless Browder really became as he went to far as to try claim America could be capitalist and NOT imperialist!
