Spiritual Awakening

From back cover by Hugh ...it calls to our oneness, to the spiritual purity of heart and mind that unites us all. There is a goodness inthis book that makes me long for the day of reconciliatation, when we will all see only our brotherhood, and not the personal differences in our various paths. There is wisdom and beauty in the language of this book, and beneath the words and concepts there is an even greater truth"

One of my favorite teachers of all time was a follower of Kirpal Singh, this author's father. I was pursuing many paths at the time and finally came upon Siddha Yoga, but this path still appeals to me. The title of one chapter continuously arises in my mind and that is The Running Commentary of the Mind. Of course, it is what Eckhart Tolle would call self-talk, that incessant dialog in our minds. I intend to reread, at least that one chapter.
