This is a little bit of an interesting teaching idea in that you do not see it much anymore. The workbook has a simple goal which is to introduce kids to the very basic computer skills, including parts, types, and hardware of computers. Backed with several basic kid activities such as matching concepts, coloring, and true or false statements. Overall, it is not a bad book for kids being introduced to computers for the first time.

I like that the book is a good starting point for learning about computers for the first time. But computer learning needs to continue as much as possible. The Beestar website provides such a learning environment for picking-up where this workbook leaves off. Another good thing about this workbook is that you can still learn about computers without it always being technology driven. Paper and pencil still work well for learning!
