Rand Powell didn't expect to die before the age of forty. He also didn't expect to wake up in someone else's body, or meet a beautiful, mysterious angel named Harriet. But the biggest shock of all is when Harriet takes him to Barnes, Ohio, a small town in his past, where he is to help a deeply troubled young woman who was in love with him when she was in high school.
Influenced by the works of Ray Bradbury, Richard Matheson, and Theodore Sturgeon, he began writing in his early teens. He frequently includes humor in his stories, as evidenced in his DEMON CHASER series. His novels, WAGON DRIVER, AND DARKNESS FELL, and AFTER DARKNESS FELL, focus on futuristic dystopian societies. Many of his stories take place in Orlando, Florida, where he lived and worked for many years.
