A Deadly Twist A Blood Witch Rising And a final battle in which winner takes all.
All four cardinal points are now active, but the increase in power for the cré-witch coven means a corresponding boost for their enemy, who is deadlier and more determined than ever to steal it all for herself. And with a fledgling Goddess vulnerable to attack, the witches must rally to protect her, all while grappling with a rule change to the laws of magic that bears far-reaching consequences.
Mags is once more safe at home, but what should be a joyous occasion quickly disintegrates into tragedy as Rhiannon strikes at the very heart of the coven. As the coven reels, her hostile forces surround Baile.
Around the world, allies are being hounded and killed. Only one coven member can rise to meet Rhiannon’s challenge, and in this final game, it’s winner take all as the cré-witch chronicles conclude.
Born British and raised in South Africa, Sarah Hegger suffers from an incurable case of wanderlust. Her match? A hot Canadian engineer, whose marriage proposal she accepted six short weeks after they first met. Together they’ve made homes in seven different cities across three different continents (and back again once or twice). If only it made her multilingual, but the best she can manage is idiosyncratic English, fluent Afrikaans, conversant Russian, pigeon Portuguese, even worse Zulu and enough French to get herself into trouble.
Mimicking her globe trotting adventures, Sarah’s career path began as a gainfully employed actress, drifted into public relations, settled a moment in advertising, and eventually took root in the fertile soil of her first love, writing. She also moonlights as a wife and mother.
She currently lives in Draper, Utah, with her teenage daughters, two Golden Retrievers and aforementioned husband. Part footloose buccaneer, part quixotic observer of life, Sarah’s restless heart is most content when reading or writing books.
This book was amazing until the end. It was so detailed and has excellent character and relationship building. The end felt so thrown together. You spend the whole book trying to prepare for the battle to get a very short Dragon battle. Then each relationship you are so invested in gets a sentence summing up what happens with them.
This was the book we have been building to from the beginning and whilst I do wish the big final battle had lasted a little longer, it really was a brilliant finale.
With most of our Witches coupled up and one hinted, which I hope there might be an Alannah and Simon novella one day along with Zach and Kate? I felt like I needed more from their story. Though the ending does hint at more from this series in the future so maybe Sarah has some plans for these two couples!
Maeve and Roderick are my absolute fave! A sweet little witch paired with a brute with a secret soft inside.
There were so many twist and turns as this book works to unravel all the build up from the previous book and actually part of me felt a little sorry for Rhiannon, just a very small part. Tiny. Barely there.
I can't wait to see what is next for our cre Witches and to read more from Hegger!
I really loved the series but it just dragged on for way too long. I have never been more thankful to be done with a series. I probably won’t read anything else by this author either. Which is quite sad an parts were really good, but it just got too complicated and dragged on for too long.
Wow what a book... Twists and turns everywhere... What a book! One to make you cry and the next laugh.. Surprise everywhere... A Fantastic story, well worth reading especially if you have read the books before.... Even if you haven't read the books before the story makes sense.. Hi gran yourself a copy....
Thank you, Sarah Hegger, for this brilliant series. The final chapter was brilliant. Now we know the interpretation of Mags's visions. There was a surprise ending, literally at the very end. I'm wondering of some day, we'll read more about that.
Loved this book! It was amazing! The way Sarah brought all of the characters together made you want to keep reading and not put it down. I know this was the end of the Cre-Witch Chronicles which made me sad but the ending said there is so much more to be brought forth! Great job Sarah!

What a journey. I’ve laughed and cried almost immediately after each other. I loved the outcome. Would have liked a few more loose ends tied up but I have loved this series from the start and will definitely reread them again and again.
Wow, that was completely unexpected. Great writing. This should spin to a new series about Regan and Rian. Shame it came to an end. I enjoyed the whole series.
Wow what an ending! Ms Hegger really knows how to write... The culmination of everyone's lives was brilliant especially with what happened at the end with Alexander. I have loved all the characters in the series, I enjoyed learning about each of them. The storyline continues from the last book and has many twists and turns and lots of action and adventure thrown in.
