Faith and prayer

In an Amish farming community it is a rarity for many to be readers; especially farmers. A book wagon would be quite frivolous. Yet, not all the books are fiction. Many contain wonderful information on healing and farming. Prohibited to read by his father, he writes. Forbidden to read means he no longer sees her. But through reading, he has invaluable information in his mind that will save a life and bring about the respect he wanted all along.

This was a good story about continuing the paternal tradition of providing lending books to Amish community. While on her traveling route, Annie comes across obstacles as well as new friends. The elder Amish do not approve reading of books, but a dangerous situation is prevented because of being able to read/learn.

Warm, engaging story, but missing words, etc.

I'm tired of saying this, but how can an author who spins a great story not bother to have a proofreader/editor to correct missing words, etc.?
Also, the links to "Please leave a review on Amazon" don't work unless you back out several layers and choose the book again.

Great heartwarming story. Naomi is a great writer. Would recommend highly. Amish are strict in their beliefs but do bend on occasion. This book gives you the good and the strictness of an Amish girl and boy.
