As a Former Kindergarten teacher I found this to be a great resource for teaching young children how to write their letters and numbers. There are several things that stood out above other books I've seen or used. First, They start out with writing the letters and numbers very large, then gradually make them smaller. The arrows help remind kids which direction to go while writing. The second thing I really enjoyed was that they didn't just leave it at writing the letters and numbers. The final practice pages have them writing out the numbers in word form. So, you have a book that teaches them to write the letters and numbers, going from large to small, and how to write and spell the word form of the numbers. Such a great resource. This is one I would use in my own classroom if I still taught kindergarten.
