A creative mind trapped in a world of reality Jackie Sheats expresses herself in anyway that she can. From illustrating and writing to dancing like a mental patient while preparing dinner. Living in Maryland with her logic driven husband, their six cats, the dog, and a tank full of fish, Jackie spends her free time doing the backlog of housework and studying for her Masters in Illustration. A movie junkie, video game addict, and secret ninja in training she lives life under the idea that "if you don't know how to do something, go learn it!"

My daughter and I love to color together and she's been asking for something not too "little kid" for Halloween season to color and these are perfect! So many to choose from !

This is an adorable true coloring book. I say "true" because others that I have previously reviewed are books turned into coloring books. This one is ready to go with whatever tools you want to use.



All the pages are black and white and feature 1-3 cute characters ready for their Halloween debuts. There is even a familiar trio tucked into the pages but you know, my readers, you have to go get the coloring book to find out who. I am not going to spoil it!

I love this and it just adds to the fun of Halloween and I am all about that.



I give this one 5 pumpkins simply for its cuteness!



PS. She has several coloring books on the market. I may just have to go get me a few.

I have always loved coloring and Dainty Damsels mixes two of my favorite things. Growing up I was a huge Lisa Frank fan, and this book takes that love and brings it to a more adult feel and mixes it with my favorite holiday Halloween. Mixing both simple and complex designs this book is an enjoyable moment to slow down and enjoy the simple creativity of coloring. As a mom of two little boys, I don’t always have a moment to do something time consuming for myself. Being able to sit down for 10-15 minutes and color one of these beautiful designs by J. N. Sheats helps me decompress and bounce back for the next round of questions and allows some creative quiet moments with my boys as we enjoy coloring together.

This is a beautiful collection of pictures for children (and adults) of all ages to enjoy and have fun colouring it.
My little boy and niece loved them and it was a great way to spend a creative afternoon while getting them excited about Halloween.
It was nice to have pictures that were cute and not as scary as most Halloween things as when my son was younger he found it all scary where as this book brings the spirit of Halloween, the dressing up and having fun without the over the top scary side.

I really loved it and will definately be showing it to my sons school for Halloween activity ideas.

This is such a cute coloring book! This book has 30 pages of beautifully drawn artwork to color, well 31 if you count the cover sheet too. I like how this artist and author put a warning at the front to make sure to put something under your page if you don’t want the colors to leak through, and a whole blank page to test your colors. I don’t know how many times I have had to color on something else or off to the side of my masterpiece to test a color. The little characters are so sweet and it is fun to color them in the different halloween costumes, and of course who doesn’t love a Hocus Pocus inspired scene.

Dainty Damsels is JN Sheats beautiful Halloween collection for this year. I love the illustrations in this book she is a talented drawer and I love the cute and funky characters.

Once you open it up you are filled with the desire to colour and to make them pop yourself and not give them to the kids. Unlike previous collections this on has 30 pages to choose from all set for Halloween to delight the senses.

Not only am I going to colour with pencils and am going to see what these wonderful pictures would look like with water colours.

I am an avid adult coloring type of soul person, and I live for Halloween each and every single year. So when I saw this beautiful cover, I was very intrigued. I loved the design, and the cute very artistic pictures. I look forward to coloring these! Each one, you can tell a lot of love, time, and work went into them! I think a mix of markers and colored pencils will make this pop for what they are meant to be!

DO not pass this beautiful book of coloring Halloween images up! To color, will be a treat!

Crafty, cute and creative
This is a delightful colouring book that would appeal to all ages. The characters and scenes are cute but mature and imaginative. The pictures are drawn to allow for creativity with different mediums, colour and lines. I really like the addition of the check page at the start to ensure that colours don’t bleed through to other pages. A book that will inspire hours of fun.

I have always loved to color and loved Halloween. With Dainty Damsels, I get the combination of both. All pictures are adorable and fun to color. There are no difficult patterns to try to stay in the lines with. It is great for all ages. Each picture is unique.
I prefer a slightly bigger challenge than what Dainty Damsels offers, but since that is my personal preference, it does not take from the rating. I still had fun coloring it.

This is a quaint little coloring book and would be great for a rainy day. I think it would be brilliant for children and adults alike. After all even adults like to color. The drawings are well done and look easy to fill in. Not my normal review but I am an equal opportunity reviewer. I just wish my children were a bit younger but I am sure they would have liked to color one or more of the pictures. I plan on doing a couple myself. Give it a go and let your inner child out.

As a huge fan of both coloring books and Halloween I had to pick this book up. It is a terrific book for coloring Halloween pictures. There is not a picture I do not love. It is easy enough for both kids and adults alike. I could see these being used in classrooms for kids to color at Halloween time. Great coloring book that I have been enjoying coloring all the pictures to put up around the house for decorating.

There is a beginning scribble page to test out your art media and what to do if your coloring bleeds through. This is a great idea! Faces look like anime anime artwork and the damsels are age appropriate in design. The characters don't look scary and are adorable. There are enough details in the pictures to keep you interested and keep coloring for any age group. I like to do adult coloring and this is a wonderful book!

This collection of Halloween coloring pages is great for all ages! I love that there is a sample page at the beginning to test your coloring materials for bleed thru. The pictures are so fun and whimsical and this collection combines two of my favorite things: coloring and Halloween! I was so excited to see this collection and it has not disappointed! My daughter and I have had so much fun coloring together. There is something that appeals to everyone!

What an adorable coloring book! The pictures are artfully drawn. I want to get out my markers or colored pencils out and start coloring. They are perfect for glitter pens. I love the cute cartoony images. This is the first time I’ve seen this product and I’m going to be looking for these collections. I’m always looking for fun coloring books to help destress. This is such a fun activity book! I would recommend it for any age, as the pictures aren't spooky even though they are Halloween related. Get out your crayons, colored pencils, gel pens, sharpie markers, even some paint and just have fun with this! The pictures are great sizes for all the mediums mentioned above. Make it a girls night and color before watching your favorite Halloween movie! :)

Halloween is one of my absolute favorite holidays and I spend a lot of my downtime coloring. This is the perfect mash-up for me! I love all of the fun pages and the illustrations are well drawn. Dainty Damsels by J.N. Sheats. This is the perfect coloring book for little girls and women alike. I absolutely loved it. It was so pretty and the pictures almost come to life once they are colored. If you are in the market for a coloring book for a gift or just a relaxation day this one is awesome. I will be picking up more for gifts and maybe even one more for myself!

I am excited about these color pages!!! Halloween happens to be one of my favorite holidays and the fact that there are Hocus Pocus color pages excite me!!! I can’t wait to print them out and color them all. Coloring happens to be one of my favorite ways of distressing and it takes away my anxieties.

So many gorgeous pictures to colour! The images have a Halloween twist but are also cute and fun! Plus I love the testing pages at the front that allow you to test your colouring materials first rather than potentially ruining any of the colouring pages by accident! Will be looking forward to more from this creator!

Dainty Damsels by J.N. Sheats

Dainty Damsels is a super fun coloring book filled with 30 different interactive pages. We not only love to color but my four year old loves Halloween. The illustrations are amazing and coloring is not only a fun family time but for me its relaxing. I highly recommend this coloring book.

This is a cute coloring book that would geared towards older teens and adults. The artwork is fun and good fir Halloween. Pictures are detailed enough to have good artwork but not so much it isn't easy to add your own details. Fun activity.
