"Smile"

My delight in Hope Moore's poetry collection begins in the front matter, where Hope Moore describes INFINITY as "A Poetry collection for lovers" and dedicates this fruit of her effort to "everyone who still believes in love." I am just such a romantic, poetry-loving person, so I was excited for the creative work to follow.
Moore has a style I found pretty and familiar, with poems conferring hopeful, comforting ideas: you'll be my last thought ("Our Next," p185), I want to remember you forever ("Greatest," p90), or, simply, dream only of me ("Lullaby," p51). At the same time, she brings something unusual to her poems, both in her imagery and her form. Moore's imagery is sometimes surprising: "My heart became tangled," and "Your smile was like a rope, steadily pulling on my soul" p122. I think the poem I excerpted also exemplifies her creative use of imagery.
Form also affects the way these poems read. Practically every line ends with punctuation, which reads like a hard stop. This creates a powerful rhythm, an inescapable, coursing Hope Moore river in which these poems run.

Hope writes with true passion! She dedicated Infinity, to the ones that still believe in love and I can't find that more fitting. Hope has a talent for building atmosphere in each piece she writes. The poetry made me feel so present and moved with each emotion she evoked.
She touches so gracefully on the delicate side of love. The vulnerable side that many can relate to.One of my favorites is pg. 14 Devoted. She captured the essence of love so beautifully and authentic.
She took me on such a journey of how love can shape a person and what we do for the ones we love.
As a poet myself, pg. 35 Poetic Love was just everything.
This is a must read!!

This collection so beautifully captures the feeling of all consuming love. The kind that leaves you breathless while also making you feel like you have the most oxygen you’ve had your entire life. Like a breath of fresh air, and a connection you cohesively feel in silence and it’s magnetic. Words from a hopeful heart that dives so deep in what I think is our greatest and most rewarding emotion, even when it’s lost. A great read and a lovely writer.

Every word by Hope flows beautifully and the words written are heartwarming and thoughtful. I loved reading her words and fully enjoyed the warmth and glimpses into small moments and grand feelings felt that gave her inspiration to write and put together this brilliant collection of poetry. Highly recommend her book to all ~

This collection of poems was an easy read. It flowed well and made it hard to put down. It is a dedication in words to love and gives hope to those who may have lost faith. It was a breath of fresh air and a spark in my heart that I thought was long lost.

Reading through this collection of soul-touching poems, just when I was sure I had found my favourite, another one grabbed a special place in my heart! Not a word is wasted through these pages. Hope's imagery, woven with a magical alchemy of love and nature, takes us through the range of emotions that love evokes.
In a crazy, stress-filled world, Hope reminds us of the inspiration and support that unconditional love offers us. Like a soft, cozy blanket on a crisp fall day, Hope's poems warmed my heart and soul!

I've been following Hope on her instagram and this poetry collection of her is something that I would love to read over and over. Each page of this book made me want to fall in love again. Her words are really healing and to be honest it is so hard to pick what page is my favorite because every part of it is a GEM!! A perfect balance of realness and ethereal with how she crafted each poems about love on this collection.

It really was a pleasure to read this wonderfully book. Hope perfectly captures the feelings we have all felt at some point in our lives. It was a wonderful piece to sit down, relax and delve into the pages.

This book was so beautiful. I love the author's use of metaphors and emotional vulnerability in the book. It takes you on a journey of pure and unconditional love and will have your heart spilling over. I highly recommend to anyone who has ever been in love before!

Infinity by Hope Moore was a beautiful testament of true love. This book reminded me that to love means to be selfless. The author captured the essence of chemistry and compatibility with another through descriptions of sea shore dates and coffee shop meet-cutes. Incredible. 10/10.
