A rebellious son wasting away his inheritance. A hurting father longing for his family to be restored. An older brother consumed with work to hide his pain. A lawless orphan swindling his way to destruction. Each man reeling from tragic loss and trapped in their own labyrinth of danger and grief. Will they eventually find their way home? From the author of "The Ballad of the Traveler" comes a unique retelling of a beloved parable from the Bible portraying God's recklessly extravagant love for us.
Beautifully scripted story of the prodigal son...or more accurately, the prodigal Father. What a wonderful thought that the parables of Yeshua might have been based on true stories he heard growing up. Loved this inclusion and the fullness of the story in culture and tradition. Good job Sumit and thank you!
