A book that brings together the state of the art in Theory of Constraints consulting -- much to my surprise, there is an incredibly active research and consulting community around refining and advancing TOC.

This book encapsulates the known best methods, which have come a long way since the Goldratt books of it's not luck and necessary but not sufficient.

A very fast read, and I found it so incredibly alluring that I found a graduate course that teaches the Goldratt Thinking Processes, and enables you to take the TOC Jonah certification exam (now called TOCICO Practitioner Certificate, due to a trademark violation around the term "Jonah").

BTW, that course is at Washington State University, EM526, taught by Dr. James Holt. I haven't been this exhilerated learning something in a very long time -- highly recommended: http://www.vancouver.wsu.edu/fac/holt...
