“Elizabethan England” by Ruth Ashby

The task of fitting history of Tudor dynasty, political allies and state ministers, More, Cecils, famous pirates-explorers - Drake and Raleigh, Armada, economics , theatre, Shakespeare and his plays, art - Holbein and Hilliard, music, religious reformation and Luther, views on health and astrology, social order, costumes, education, even everyday life, along with visual content on 70 pages seems impossible. Nevertheless Ruth Ashby made an excellent summary, detailed enough to show depth and still short enough to be able to engage young reader.
I think this book would be a great starting point for teenagers interested in medieval history.

A thoroughly researched look at the period of time from a cultural/societal level of Elizabeth I reign. Simplistic terms/illustrations utilized for middle schooler's research.
