PLEASE NOTE: The Whirlwind of Lust: An Erotic Lesbian Romance Novel is not Katie's work. It has been placed under the wrong Katie Taylor.

The first books Katie recalls buying herself are Jacqueline Wilson's Children's books. Her favourite of course being 'The story of Tracy Beaker' She watched the TV series and became Tracy Beaker mad! She also loved the Famous Five books, which her Mum and Auntie gave her to read. She loved the way you could just lose yourself in the stories, like you were actually there.

Katie was brought up to love books, her Mum and Dad used to read stories to her and her sister every night before they went to sleep. It was a routine that they thoroughly enjoyed and looked forward to each night.

In her early teenage years she enjoyed 'Girls in Love' also written by Jacqueline Wilson. She admired the honesty in the characters and the things they got up to.

Now twenty six, she is no longer writing as she is completing a degree. However, with her writing improving since the first two books that she wrote over ten years ago and an unfinished story, maybe the future will hold the prospect of new books.
