Divorcée Celina has a decent life in small-town Massachusetts with her pre-teen daughter, her neighbors, and her job. She’s even got a nice side gig going doing online card readings. Everything goes haywire when the school nurse at her daughter’s school is murdered and Celina’s ex – who was having an affair with the nurse – is the prime suspect. Can Celina save her ex-husband and find the real killer without revealing her real sources?Content warnings for violence (non-graphic), bad New England accents, pre-teen shenanigans, and the world’s worst mother-in-law.

I'm voluntarily leaving a review after receiving a free copy. I liked the way this investigation was done with a mix of standard police work by Dana and Celina's own brand of investigation. It is sad that her ex couldn't help being a chronic cheater and it led to murder. While Celina knew he wasn't a murderer, she didn't like the fallout especially for her daughter. Dana is a cop who is the lead investigator and catches Celina's eye. They work well together. The killer confesses at the end. This case looks like it will lead to another side career for Celina. I really didn't like her ex-mother-in-law.
