I was not prepared for this conclusion to the Cavanagh Cowboys series!

Carey and Ryder’s age-gap romance was a classic Cavanagh love story, with everything we’ve come to expect from Valerie Comer: honest and real with a dash of biblical wisdom and fun romance. But in the continuing sub-plot of Declan and Kathryn’s rocky relationship and the family’s history, there were twists and turns I did not see coming.

Trust Me With Your Heart, Cowboy is a romance that will give you hope for redemption wherever your story finds you.

Contemporary Christian Romance, 6th in a series. Ryder is the youngest of 6 Cavanagh cowboys, and this book is his story. He is harboring an attraction to Carey Anderson, but she is a bit older and also the daughter of Jason Anderson, who has not treated his family well. There's also the matter that Ryder is having Jason investigated. Carey for her part is also interested in Ryder. Finally Carey decides to make a move and invites Ryder for dinner. In his years as the mid-point between the boys and their younger sisters, Ryder has become a bit of a peacemaker. But that doesn't meet he's a pushover, in fact this book has him standing up to Declan, the family patriarch. I could use a flow chart of the extended Cavanagh family to keep everyone straight!

I enjoyed seeing the familiar characters again, and liked the discussions about the importance of starting relationships off honestly. I also enjoyed seeing Declan and Kathryn continue to rebuild their marriage. Looking forward to the next spin-off series starring the newest cowboys in town.

How Does God Work Out The Cavanagh Family's Relationships?

I ❤️d 📖ing Ryder and Carey's 💗 relationship, in Valerie Comer's "Trust Me With Your Heart, Cowboy (Cavanagh Cowboys Ranch Romance Book 6)"! VC does a masterful job, wrapping up all the continuing storylines from the Series, in this concluding 📗. I ❤️d that there are some carry over characters, from VC's "Pot of Gold Geocaching Romances" Series too.

There are some stressful/questionable/twisted relationships in Carey's and Ryder's Families, that add problems to their 💗 relationship. How does God bring Ryder and Carey to their Lifetime 💞? Then you throw in a 🔥. How does everything work out? I Highly Recommended You 📖 this Awesome, Page-Turning, Poignant, Western, Christian 💎, to find out! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have really enjoyed this series about the Cavanaghs. It's a combined family of Kathryn's three boys (Adam, Nathaniel, and Noah) and Declan's boys (Travis, Blake, and Ryder), plus their twins, Alexia and Emma. They'd gone through a lot of turmoil that heightened when Vivienne arrived in their lives. The older brothers have all married, Declan and Kathryn are working on things, the girls are doing well, but Ryder wants what his brothers have. He's had a crush on Carey Anderson for more than a year but doesn't think he has a chance with her. She's older and also a cousin to Kathryn's boys. There isn't any way she could be interested in him, is there? I'm rather sad that this series has drawn to a close.

Heartwarming cowboy romance

I've loved every one of these cowboy romances and this one didn't disappoint. Ryder finally getting his girl, even if Carey's a few years older, made my heart so happy. There was a lot packed into this book. It brought a lot of loose ends together, which was incredibly satisfying. Valerie knows how to write great stories with characters who grow and mature into their faith while finding their forever loves. Highly recommended.

I can't wait for Stephanie's love story in Valerie's new series and catching a glimpse of the Cavanagh's at the same time ;)

I enjoyed this final book in the Cavanagh family series, although I'm always sad when a series ends. Thankfully Comer often has her characters show up again in new series, so that's to look forward to. I liked the way Comer handles the tension that builds between Ryder and Carrie as they both try to deny their attraction to each other. She also does a good job on dealing with honesty in relationships. There's a big plot twist that I didn't see coming, that was a shock, but worked well in the end.

Younger Guy

Personally, I'm not a fan of younger guys, that's not to say I haven't witnessed relationships that work well with the guy being younger. I think the immaturity factor gets to me most. Ryder struggled at times, but he also stepped up to the plate and proved himself. I liked the way he stepped up and stood up for his sister. I'm sorry to see the series end, but happy to see a new one taking off.

Best for Last?

Ryder, the last of the Cavanagh brothers, might just have gotten the best romance with Carey. And, well… OOPS! No Spoilers 😉 so I’m not saying anything else about OTHER conclusions that take place. Possibly the best part of the book is that the series doesn’t end with Ryder and Carey. The stories will continue!💃 I love all of the characters that you get to meet, as well as the underlying mystery in the Cavanagh Cowboys romances.

My thoughts: I just love this series by Valerie Comer and cannot wait until her new cowboy series comes out. If you like romance with a strong faith message, you will love this author and this series. This would make an awesome Christmas gift for yourself or someone on your list. The characters come to life on the page and I couldn't put the book down. An awesome story, awesome series, and must read. I was given a copy free. All opinions are my own.

Ryder and Carey's story is great and it hit a bit close to home for me. My DIL is 3 1/2 years older than my son. The age never bothered him but she had to work through it and wouldn't date him for several months. There is also resolution to other stories that have been flowing through this series. Be sure to read the author's notes. There is a link for an extended series epilogue that really does pull it all together nicely!

Ryder and Carey have an endearing faith based story. Ryder believes there are too many complications that would get in the way of having a relationship with Carey but that doesn’t keep him from wanting to be with her. Carey silently yearns for a relationship with Ryder as well. Which one will break down and make the first move? Will the complications Ryder suspects keep them from a happy ever after?

This was a nice end to what has been an enjoyable series. There were a lot of twists and turns in the plot that I did not expect which made this last book particularly fun. I really enjoyed getting to know Ryder all grown up. But for me, the Kathryn/Declan storyline stole the show, and I was so happy to see the continued growth in them and to finally have some resolution for the whole family.
