No Barnyard Bullies
No Barnyard Bullies is the first book in the series, Stella Bella’s Barnyard Adventures by Cynthia Brian and illustrated by Jensen Russell. No Barnyard Bullies follows a pampered piglet who lives in an apartment as she is re-homed to a barnyard filled with a variety of happy critters. Thinking that she is the Queen, she bullies the other animals until she is stopped by a tiny bunny who defends a three-legged goat from her attacks. Everyone is equal in Stella Bella's barnyard where bullies are not tolerated, and inclusivity is the paramount number one rule.

Fun story with a good message, wish the art was stronger.
No Barnyard Bullies is based on a true story about a piglet named Cookie that was living in a small apartment in a big city where she slept in a bed and was catered to. She was growing too big and needed a new home.
When Cookie is placed in an animal sanctuary run by a kind lady named Stella Bella, she must live in a barn around other animals for the first time. Cookie bullies the other animals until a small bunny stands up to her. Given time, Cookie learns how to get along with the other animals and they all become friends. It’s interesting to read a story where the main character is a bully and learns to become kind. Big changes like moving to a new home can be hard, but learning to be kind makes a big difference in life.
A word about the artwork—it was created by a student who was studying illustration, so you can see the artist’s style emerging as she was learning. Keep that in mind and decide if you’re flexible about the look and feel of the book before buying it. Kids who like pigs and/or farm animals will enjoy the book.
100% of the proceeds from sales of No Barnyard Bullies benefit the Be the Star You Are! literacy charity to empower women, families, and youth.

Bullies are not welcome! This children's book is very appropriate for the divisive times in which we live. The true story of the animals on how they stopped a bully pig from terrorizing a three-legged goat will delight children and adults alike. The message: we must be kind and inclusive. If we start teaching our children at a young age to be kind, we will create a better world. The illustrations by Jensen Russell are gorgeous and sweet.

NO BARNYARD BULLIES
This is such a fun, heartwarming story. The prose is positive and happy. As Stella Bella goes through a transition from a pampered life to one more rustic and basic, she must learn how to live in harmony with the other animals or risk isolation, which is not much different than what children go through on the playground. Fun story time read aloud.
