Chillls

How can evil target children? Well because they are easy targets. You will be sitting on the edge of your seat when you read this book. I could not put it down. And now I am sad as I wait for the next one. I love the way Monica weaves her stories and Mrs Chewning 's style is definitely a plus. Thank you both for a wonderful book escape.

3rd book in the series

In a lot of series the 1st book is strong and drags you in but the 2nd book starts to loose its luster and a 3rd will fall flat. Not with this series. The 3rd was just as good as book 1 &2 if not better. I have to say at times just thinking about the horrible life of Randal, the 7 year old boy ghost brought tears. Such a great story. I am also glad M. L. Bullock crossed over and brought the Gulf Coast Paranormal team from another series which I have read into this book. It was like hanging out with old friends.

Who are these people giving 4 and 5-star reviews, are they being paid? I am so glad to have finished this book so I don’t have to continue any further (my competitive nature compels me to read the next in a series otherwise it drives me crazy). Anyone who thinks this is 5-star writing must be in elementary school because three books in these characters are as flat as cardboard. The entire book led up to the pinnacle scene itself only took a few paragraphs to wrap up (big disappointment). There were several weird scenes where I think the author may have even confused herself who was present because it’d be only two people in a location waiting on the third one then after two sentences between them suddenly the missing third person just joins the conversation like they had always been in it, no introduction or arrival of the person, they just appeared.

This was so badly written and remained consistently terrible through all three books. Do yourself a favor and find another author.

Awesome book!

I loved this book! The whole series is so good! I can’t wait for more. Detra Ann and Herni made a deal to purchase some funerary stones and statues from an old cemetery, and “something “ came to the shop with a statue. Aggie is getting stronger, Phoenix is weirdly tied to this as well. Sierra and Josh made an appearance! Keep these books coming! I love them!

Quite the chiller!

A spooky statuary from a questionable venue reaches evil tendrils into the lives of all who know someone that came too close! I didn't want to read this too close to bedtime!

Kept me on my toes!

There were so many twists and turns in this story. It would be nice if the author could put out books in this series as fast as I read them…just saying. Can’t wait for the next one.

There is just not a bad thing I can say about this growing motley crew of , well you can continue to read this great series to see what I mean. But please do, in order if possible, and have a great, true escape from the mundane. Don't stop now!
