Hmm. Not sure about him. He is an arrogant asshole but seems to genuinely care about Sia.

Better than the previous books but not as good as the first to books in this series. I liked the fact that these books are short and you can read them quickly BUT the author focuses too much on the plot instead of the love story sometimes. It is not necessary to have a plot this heavy/big in a book with 200 pages. The consequence is that the couple and love story don’t get enough attention which is annoying.
Alessia and Michael are a promising couple. A cop and a mafia princess? Sadly this potential wasn‘t used well and the story was just okay. It could have been done better. And to be honest I wish Alessia got a nicer man… Michael is too arrogant for my liking and our sweet Sia deserved better.

You'll love Alessia and Michael's story and will find it hard to put down. Well written with a great story line. No shortage of drama, surprises or plot twists. A chance meeting brings them together but neither knew who the other was. Imagine a mob princess and a cop. The book will draw you in right at the beginning and keep you page turning. Well written with lots of drama and emotion. As with most mafia romances it has it's share of family drama, danger and fast action. I read an arc via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.

Captivating Mancini read, great action, characters and scenarios you’ll be totally engrossed
Michael would never have expected that when he went out that day to take a browse around the bookstores of New Orleans that he would meet a woman that would change his life forever and likewise Sia had decided that morning to put on her “Big Girl Panties” and had actually spoken to the good-looking man in the book shop and not simply ignored his as she usually would.
The night that Sia and Michael had spent together had been simply mind blowing and there was no way she could have imagined that when she woke up the following morning, she would be in bed alone, no note where or why he had to leave like a creep in the night. She had not even got his surname, didn’t know where he worked or lived and she had not even asked for his mobile phone number, how stupid could she have been.
Michael had gone back to Sia’s apartment but she had been gone and even though he had called back on many occasions she had not returned and he did not have a phone number or a surname and so could not search for her. Imagine his surprise then as he continues in his job as a police officer he constantly hears of two main crime families and they are The Castillo’s and The Mancini’s who are known to be bitter rivals and controlling much of New Orleans.
Then as the attacks on the Mancini family begin to increase and it is blatantly apparent who is causing the trouble and is endeavouring to point the finger of blame at them with the police lapping up all the made up lies it is essential that they watch their backs, care for their families and loved ones as there is nothing the Castillo’s would not do to cause them pain and heartache.
As the story continues to gain pace, when there are attacks on their beloved home and Michael is on shift with a Detective called Watts, it is obvious that he is dirty and working with the Castillo’s and he is able to quickly see that they are responsible for the large fire on the night of the wedding.
I guarantee that there are lots of surprises in this book and when Sia realises that she is actually soon going to be bringing a surprise to the family in a few months it is essential that she try and find Michael sooner rather than later.
You will love ever page of this wonderful book and I guarantee that you will be looking forward to the next book in this series which is to do with “Houdini” Mancini as he is known to his foes and enemies as he has a talent for making people that cross him disappear.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

As the Daughter of a Mafia Don, Alessia Mancini knows she lives in constant danger, however nothing could of prepared Sia for Michael Jones.
Louisiana is fairly new to Michael, but if it brings him closer to the exquisite woman he met at the Library, this is the one and only place this straight laced officer wants to be. While Sia and Michael enjoy their day/evening together, Sia awakes to an empty apartment and no way to know how or if she'll meet the man of her dreams again... Then again, fate is funny like that and their journey is just beginning. If only they knew who each other is, perhaps then their reunion could of gone differently.
I try extremely hard never to give away to much of the plot, so that I do not ruin the release for other reader's. That being said, Haunted Hunter has everything you could want or need in a Mafia romance. Instant lust & chemistry, yes. Dramatic & intriguing scenes, oh yes. A wonderfully designed cast of characters and a storyline to keep you glued, yes definitely. The introduction to the next installment is also explained for you. While you can read this book as a standalone, I strongly recommend reading the Series.

Loved Alessia and Michael's story!! A one night stand that didn't go as planned. Alessia's put her decided for once to put herself out there but not as the quiet Mancini but as the brave Sia Mancini. A chance meeting brought Michael and Sia together not knowing anything about each other the passion and flowed and they had a night neither could forget. Both sad and heart broken as they each have different thoughts from that night Sia world turns upside down when she finds out the man of her dreams is a police officer. Will this change how each feel about the other? The Mob Princess and the Cop or will they be able to see passed thier differences? Absolutely love the Mancini family they are all so different but ine thing is they are loyal and family means everything. Take the journey with Alessia and Michael and see if there is a HEA in store for this couple or will thier two different worlds clash. You will fall in love with Alessia from the beginning of the story as she is the light of the family. You will find where the Mancini family starts is in the Rebel Saint's Cut iver series but I suggest started at Rebel Saint's Bone's. Hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. Lily is an amazing author who always leaves you wanting more.

Finally Alessia’s story. Alessia has always been the twin with the high morals that followed what she was told, but that is about to change. As things ramp up for Adriano & Melissa’s wedding, she is spending more and more time with her family. Being surrounded by the happy couples, a pang of loneliness, if not envy is her only constant companion. Each sibling has found their match. She worries that she will never get to experience great love like they all have and she will forever be a perpetual outsider. On her day off she decides indulge and follow her wild beating heart. After doing some soul searching she meets Michael at the book store. The two have an immediate connection and Alessia throws caution to the wind. Her life is changed forever and so is Michael’s. I love Alessia and Michael’s story. It is steamy with lots of emotion and a perfect balance of action and suspense. Plus how fitting for the mafia princess with the high morals to fall for a cop. Now I cannot wait to read if Alberto Mancini finds love in Book 6.

Lily J Adams has truly outdone herself once again and delivered another fantastic addition to her Mancini Crime Family Series) this series seriously does keep getting better and better with every single book . Each couple and each storyline is so captivating, so unique snd so multi layered .with Hunted Hunter we get the emotional Journey of both Michael and Alesia two people who are on opposite sides of the law as Michael is a police officer and Alesias family is well known for their mafia connections . But one thing is absolutely undeniable and that is that from the moment they meet sparks fly . Dark , raw , gritty , suspenseful, romantic Action packed , drama , angst , twists and turns , second chances , off the charts chemistry , family , friendships, drama , heartbreaking, heartfelt, wonderfully written characters and so much more . There really are no perfect words to express all the reasons this is a must read . So do yourself a favor , go into it with a completely open mind and experience all its perfection for yourself. It’s so worth all the sleep I lost

Continuing the Mancini Family series, this 5th book brings us the story of the quiet well behaved twin Alessia, the one who was contemplating going into a nunnery! That is until she meets the very handsome, sexy Michael in the book store, the attraction between the two of them is in instant and Alessia decides it’s about time she lives a little and allows herself the freedom of behaving like the young adult she is.
As with al of the Mancini books our author gives us real page turning life events that Alessia and Michael have to face in building their relationship, including danger, romance, laughter, lies, jealousy and yes, even love.
We also got a taste of the next book in the series, which will be focussing on the head of the family Alberto, so looking forward to it!

Book Five of the Mancini Crime Family Series, it can be read as a stand alone or as part of the series.
Lily Adams detours away from the typical path with this story in the best of ways. The book still has all of her classic trademarks; steam, stubbornness, family bonds, and the characters journeys to find themselves. Michael and Sia just get to take a different path with starting their relation ship.
Both are the good ones. Sia is the daddy's princess and good girl of the family. Michael is firmly held to his beliefs and job. One snag leads to another and keeps these two apart, until they find each other in the most unexpected situation. Of course, the journey doesn't stop there. Both have to figure out what is truly important to them. As well as what they can and cannot accept in their lives.
A smooth read with endearing characters.

Totally loving this series! Each book has its own unique story and Alessia and Michael’s is amazing! I’m so glad that Alessia is finally getting her story. Hated seeing her sit in the background while her siblings all got their happily ever afters. Alessia is the quiet one, the “straight and narrow, high moral compass” one. She’s the watcher, very seldom the doer. Love that when she finally steps out of her comfort zone she meets Michael. He also has a high moral compass, seeing the world in black and white. This makes for a great storyline…Mafia Princess and the Cop! This also makes for some tense moments with family and co-workers. As with all of Ms. Adams’ books, there is excitement, humor, passion and love. And there is also a quick peek at the next book…definitely waiting for that story to unfold! Love this book, bring on Book 6!

She is pregnant and he is the cop who instigated the search warrant against her father, only the surprise is on both sides when they see each other. Unplanned pregnancy, grandfather of the child is the mafia head, his career in the force, both holding firm views about parenting the child..what else could possibly hinder this relationship?

I needed a change of pace and this book in The Mancini Crime Family gave me exactly what I wanted. A hint of crime, family protection, meeting a stranger and feeling that intrinsic pull of the unknown.
Last time we were left with the conundrum of who had drawn the attention of Alessia. This time a partner who seems to be calmer, on the right side of the law, but no less protective and willing to give his all for her. Michael fell in love within 15 minutes and was determined to win her love in return.
As I was nearing the end of the story, my heart started plummeting, or could it have been my stomach. Was this the end of reading about the Mancini family? But the feud between the Castillos and Macinis has not been resolved!
Then the author ended off with these words:
NOT QUITE THE END ......

This is my favorite book in this series so far. Michael and Alessia are star-crossed lovers who are meant to be together but have to overcome obstacles to get to their HEA. Their story grabbed my attention on the first page and held it to the end. This is a quick, well-written, fast-paced, read.
My only issue with the story is when Michael is arrested and held for 72 hours. Given the circumstances, he never would have been arrested or charged so it’s not even remotely realistic (I don’t want to state the circumstances because it might be considered a spoiler). Other than that, I really enjoyed the book.

Sia and Michael have a rough road ahead. They meet and fall for each other, discuss so much but somehow forget to get a phone number or last name. Sia is the last of the 5 siblings in the Mancini family to find her other half. And Michael is a cop, a very honest cop. Now she is pregnant and can't find him. Even her father, with all his connections, cannot find him. Same with Michael, he keeps going by her house and she's not there. But he can't stop thinking about her. This story as danger, angst, drama, new love, unexpected pregnancy, honor and confrontation. A very well written page turner which ended too soon But I enjoyed the sneak peak at the next story.

Although not exactly an enemy of her mafia father, Michael is not welcomed. Not exactly an enemy of Michael's brethren, Alessia is not welcomed. They are a modern version of Romeo and Juliette. Their love is strong, determined and true. Alessia and Michael are sweet together and very protective of each other. You just can't help rooting for them ❤️ I received this ARC and this is my honest review.

Another great entry into the Mancini series. This time we have Alesia’s story, and it was fun seeing her breach out and try something new. She definitely learns to be her own person here and chase after what she wants. Her and Michael have a lot of chemistry even if they come from different sides of the law. Michael himself is likable, as he is resourceful and protective. The pacing of the story was well done as well, with the overarching plot from the other stories making its way into this one as well.

When Sia meets Michael its instant attraction. This starts their relationship , that could be used against both of them, because Michael isn’t just any man, he is a police officer and he’s trying to get the whole family. This leads to some interesting times, because when they had a one night stand they got a little bonus gift. This gift goes along way to bring the Mancini clan and Michael together.
Their feelings for each other is the way to to hold together and be a united front to her family

Dilemma between love and justice
Excellent characters that could not be more opposite: a princess of the mafia, rather sage and a policeman who seeks to bring down her family without knowing that she is the daughter of the Don.
It is an excellent dilemma, intense, after a long quest. Their story is tender, passionate and for Sia, disturbed by her family, and for Michael, by his police work.
It's all about knowing what will outweigh the rest.

Being the good girl all the time can get boring....that is where Sia was born from Alessia. She figured she could play a role and mix it up a bit and maybe play out a fantasy. She did more than that... she met Michael and they talked a lot except for the basic things.... like a last name, what kind of job do you work and phone number. Sia thought Michael was showing feelings for her but it turned into a one night stand.....oh they do meet up again but not like either expected. What is the worst kind of job for the boyfriend of a mafia princess????

Lily J. Adams has given us another fantastic book in the Mancini Crime Family series (book 5). Alessia is the twin sister of Guilia, they have three brothers. This book focuses on her relationship with Michael, a police officer. I really enjoyed this book and as with all her books get caught up reading it because her story line and characters are so strong. Kudos to Ms. Adams.

I like Alessia and Michael’s story so much! I wondered what will be thru Alessia, the good girl of the Mancini’s.
A heartbreaking story - due to the self doubt of the main characters, and also a heartwelming one.
A true mean of a family - not only by blood, but mostly by choice.
And a intro into the story of the head of the family, which can’t wait to read!

A cop for the mafia princess...
This 5th in series features one of the twin daughters of the head of the Mancini Crime Family. She's portrayed as an innocent in the mafia family, she entertained becoming a nun but the policeman won her heart. Will the family accept her choice & will the hero be comfortable with her mafia family. Loving this series & can't wait for the next 2 books to complete their journey. Highly recommended. Haunted Hunter : A Mafia Romance (The Landing Crime Family Series Book 5)
This book was outstanding, I have liked all the stories in this series very much. I just can't put them down I am so wrapped up in the stories I miss a lot of sleep. Romance, suspense and protection with all the right flare and excitement. Lily J. Adams does such a great job writing I suggest everyone should read this series.

This was a 4.5⭐️read
This one had an interesting twist.
Didn’t expect Alessia to step out of her comfort zone but glad she did.
Alessia and Michael... mafia princess and the cop.
Such a cute couple and so perfectly step for their HEA.
Looking forward to book 6.

What a great read! Once started, very hard to stop… totally recommend this series!
More Mancini family, here Alissa meets Michael. What an exciting tale, lots of action, drama, scary moments, even humour, and a one night stand that wasn’t! Hard not to like old man Mancini, despite his fearsome reputation.

This story had me drawn to Michael and Alessia. They are totally opposites being that he is a law-abiding officer, and her family works on the opposite side of the law. Alessia is the good girl who decides she is going to live a little. Will she and Michael tryst lead them to a happily ever after? I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.

Another fantastic story in this wonderful series, Alessia decides that for once she was going to take what she wanted and that was one night with officer Michael, when she wakes he's gone and with no way for each to get in touch. Then the war between the Mancini and Castillo hots up and Michael finds his partner is on the take with the Castillo.

We met in a bookstore and spent a wild night together before I knew who he was. This isn't me. I'm the goody-two-shoes of the family. I'm even thinking of becoming a nun. I'm a good Catholic girl. But with Michael, I'm not Alessia... I'm Sia, a dangerous, passionate version of myself. This was an intriguing read. And am voluntarily leaving my review.
