Besides all the food mentioned in the blurb (bobotie, bredie, etc.) one recipe that stands out for me, is the 30-day-muffins. My mother made it quite often, and as a 16 year-old, I couldn't resist dipping a spoon into the dough and eating it raw ... my mother could never understand why the dough levels dropped so quickly! The other scrumptious recipe in it, is for microwave meatballs. Edgar was the first to experiment with these and since they worked so well the first time, we've made them quite a few times. Finally, the book has an indispensable guide for cooking vegetables in the microwave. It gives you exact guidelines for quantity vs. cooking time in an easy-to-read table.
