This book aims to make it easier to pick up everyday-phrases and expanding your vocabulary, it's kept simple but natural and reflects modern Norwegian as it's spoken today. The story includes a variety of topics at a cafe, at work, at a clothes store, talking to colleagues, hanging with friends, text messaging, social media etc. Everything is worked naturally into the storyline.

SIMPLE , BUT NATURAL
- A lot of short sentences and repetitions but without being 'dumbed down'.
- It is packed with words and phrases that Norwegians use everyday + 'less important but fun to know' phrases you can impress your Norwegian friends with!
- Repetition makes it easier to remember new vocabulary.
- Starts out simple, but introduces more vocabulary and new structures as the story develops.
-The vocabulary-lists focuses not only on 'new' words, but rather important, frequently used words. These are the words and formulations that you absolutely want to incorporate into your active vocabulary.

Reviews from Wonderful book for learners who are bored of dry textbooks and grammar drills. It’s a charming story which keeps the reader engaged so much that you almost forget it’s a learning exercise. The vocabulary is relevant and natural, and the repeated usage is enough to help the new words stick in the mind without dominating. Highly recommended!

As the story developed I was firstly excited and sympathetic with the characters. And then amazed - almost to the point of incredubility but still intrigued. I just laughed as the story pulled together at the end. It was a good story.
As the language developed there were increasingly more words that I was not familier with but the vocabulary lists helped me. First I read the book through slowly to get the story and check that the vocabulary level was right for me. Then I read the book again and just enjoyed the story. The language developed well so that I knew I was learning but I wasn’t overwhelmed. I wanted to keep reading and I never put the book aside because I felt I was failing.
