I am a home-and-church musician, who didn't study piano properly for very long, but I am a good sight reader. This book was perfect for me. Some tunes that I was able to play immediately, and some that will require some more work. Having this in the house has made me much more motivated to play more often.

I very much enjoy Howard's style of composition, both the tunes which are more like Philip Glass, and the Johann Sebastian Bach-like "Solo for a Single Voice". His hands are obviously quite a bit bigger than mine, which is a little frustrating, but that's more my problem, than a problem with the book itself.

The type-setting is easy to read - beautifully laid out, good quality paper, and it lays flat.
