Dad’s best friend was my first… and now he’s my Boss. When he looks at me with those sea-blue eyes, I’m putty in his hands. He’s as old as my parents and my dad definitely would not approve. Not to mention, he thinks he’s the cat's meow and is dangerous AF. He’s mysterious and very protective over me… way too irresistible. Not to mention, he’s also scorching hot with a massive… bank account. I’m falling fast and hard. It’s clear his mission is to claim me, so I let him steal my v-card. It’s so wrong but feels so right. Now he’s my big bad secret. Until my dad walks in on us and there’s hell to pay.
What’s my dad going to do when he finds out I’m pregnant?

This was a conventional but also unconventional at the same time.
I mean - both the MCs didn’t give a…about their ages and the difference between them. They thoroughly embraced it and just flowed along with it because..who cares. I guess I wish more people embraced age gap romances instead of feeling ashamed of why they loved in real life.
Enough rambling though…
Secondly the steam was on point - I felt midway jealous about not having that same for myself - but then I told myself books do it better haha.
Thirdly the romance - could’ve been fleshed out more - ya know the hearty confessions and such. But meh I was just enjoying myself so much I forgot to care.
“What are you talking about?” she hisses once she’s fully convinced that we’re alone. “Why are you saying all of this stuff? I thought that we were going to be…”
“Professional, I know.” I roll my eyes. “But I’m sick of the pretense, it isn’t working out for me anymore. Faith, all I think about all the time is you. I dream about you all the time, I touch myself when I’m thinking of you, no one else compares…”
Actually, this book wasn’t surprised me at the beginning, because the plots are cliché and the hook up between Faith and Aaron was pretty quick happened. Everything is more like they fall in list with each other. Honestly I ain’t the person who doesn’t like taboo related romances, instead I live reading taboo romances, but this one really didn’t awe me at first.
But, after plots went on, I couldn’t put down the book cuz I wanted to knew what’s gonna happen after they found Faith’s father is Aaron’s beat friend in college. The ages gap was pretty large, not to mention Aaron’s daughter was older than Faith. It’s been tough for them to be together, and they pretended to be professional for one month. At the meantime, Aaron has the stress of dangerous unknown Mr. Related-to-Aaron’s-diamonds-business called every day. He had enough time to sat down and think about their relationship.
I became more like this book because I think this one month is a great time for both of them recognized what kind of feeling they had for each other, was it just a short-time-hook-up thing, or something different? I think it’s more mature for both of them.
There’s so much things happened later on, and yesss!! They told reach other’s feelings!!!
“I love you.” The words fall out of my mouth at the speed of light. I don’t even know that they are coming, they just happen. But the way that Faith’s eyes light up like a Christmas tree, I know that they are right. “I really love you, Faith.”
“You do?” she gasps in shock. “Because I love you too, I really do.”
The flaws of this one are:
No.1 the sex descriptions is lack of emotions and chemistries, especially when Faith lost her virgin.
No.2 Aaron never called one time to Faith, it’s Faith came to talk to him each time, I understood Faith’s father disagreed their being together, but I hoped Aaron could have more braveness to contact Faith instead of just feeling fucked-up.
No.3 they were back together mostly because Faith was pregnant and I knew, Aaron fall in love with her already, but it’d it weren’t the baby, he might still dared not to contact her. I just hope Aaron could be more bold to fight for her, but he didn’t, maybe one time but too short.
Yes, but this was a great book!!! I think they wouldn’t have a reasonable happy ever after future!!!
P.S: I LOVE BURT(Faith’s dad) AND LANA(Aaron’s daughter)!!!!!♥️♥️♥️
Faith is working as a flight attendant and is looking for another job because the airline has been laying people off. On her last flight she comes across Aaron a demanding wealthy man. Aaron likes how Faith makes him feel so he keeps pushing her button all through the flight. Then just before they are to land, he remembers he needs a date for a charity event so he asks Faith if she would like to attend with him and enjoy the time off with him. She agrees and its not long before tings heat up between them. While at the charity event she runs into the man her father got her an interview with and when he starts interviewing her there things take a bad turn. Aaron ends up taking her home and when her front door opens revealing her father he gets a shock of his own. Her father is his best friend from college. What does this mean for them? Can they be together?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. It's a book that any book lover would enjoy.

This was pretty good. I wish we could've known what the H's age was. I also wish this could've been a longer story because there was so much in the plot that was just glossed over. I also wish that the love story had been more fleshed out because they hooked up several times since they had insane chemistry with each other, but I didn't feel the care and love they said they felt for each other. It seemed like they were having a fuck buddy arrangement (when they could get away with it) rather than them falling in love with each other. And what was up her learning she was pregnant at the end?? It was supposed to be a part of the plot, but it seemed like a last minute thing the author just sprinkled in the plot at the end. 😐
One last thing, the Hero was kind of an asshole almost the whole book, and his monologue felt like a teenage boy's and not a grown ass man's who's supposedly a millionaire and father. 🤨
I'll probably read more of this author's books in the near future, though. What can I say, the sex scenes were very steamy and it's sometimes hard to find authors who can write a satisfying sex scene that's longer than just two pages long. 🤷
Faith is professional & very attractive as a Flight Attendant. On her last shift, she has caught the attention of Aaron, also known as the arrogant Diamond King billionaire. He is relentless & has to get to know her much better. Little do they realize that together they are fused as one, a perfect match. When they land, they each have a huge secret that can threaten their little love nest bubble which can explode in their faces if word gets out. The bad guys from Africa follow Aaron trying to force him to sell his diamond mine to them.
This is a great novel to read. Jump right into reading this one; enjoy the hot & wild ride. The more taboo this hook-up is, the more attracted they are towards each other, not wanting to ever let go. Loved this one!
I volunteered to read this ARC & leave an honest review.
Forbidden Love It is Faith’s last trip as a flight attendant in first class when Diamond King Aaron Giacometti demands a drink before take off. The fight is on, but so is the off the chart chemistry between the two. A quick fling with this silver fox may be just what she needs before she moves back in with her dad and starts a new job. Unexpected twists make this age gap romance forbidden at every turn though. An enjoyable light read with steam, drama and even an element of danger mixed in. I received an ARC of this book from the author in return for voluntarily writing an honest review.
This book was disappointing for me. It shouldn't have been titled Dad's Best Friend because they were college roommates but haven't seen each other since then. The sex scenes were a let down, especially the one where they are together the first time. She was losing her virginity, I just think it could be been better. Lana coming out of nowhere was shocking. Also the storyline about Jabari came out of left field and for me didn't really fit into the storyline. For me this was my least favorite book in the series.

Aaron came home from Africa to avoid conflict with the diamond mine. On the plane he ended up challenging and going after a stewardess, Faith. He knew she was young, but it didn’t stop him. He loved the fire in her eyes. He needed an escort to a charity event and asked her to be his plus one. Well it was he last day of work for a new job, so she said “yes”. Well in the tangle of the the web, they find out that Aaron and Faiths father were roomies in college. Wow you need to read and find out what happens.
Jake was the high school bully. Lindsey was the quiet, nerdy girl. Once he betrayed her she hates him forever. Then he shows up years later as her neighbor with a cute daughter. He doesn't remember her until she unleashes on him in front of their neighbors. But once he realizes who she is he will stop at nothing for them to be together.
Loved their story.
