A must read before purchasing your first home
I was recently asked to advise a friend who was looking to purchase her first home. Since I’ve owned a couple homes, I knew there was useful information I could share with her. But it’s been awhile since I’ve purchased my last home and I was unsure if there was new information that I was unaware of. Then I stumbled across this book. It is exactly what my friend needs. It has all the stuff I would have shared with her and so much more. The information is laid out in an easy-to-follow manner and it’s not too technical, so it is easy to digest. The author’s experience as a mortgage underwriter and 30 years in the real estate industry really shines through. I highly recommend this book for anyone considering purchasing your first home.

Informative, concise and I am better for it.
A great book that is packed full of life of relevant information, yet retains the ability to remain concise throughout. There is very little fluff in the book which can often be the case with advisory reads. I'm in the process of purchasing relatives' home and I am looking to do a deal which helps all parties. I will be referring to this book throughout the purchase of that home. One particular segment I enjoyed was budgeting and the tool the author advises to use, she points to you as a helpful website, that helps to structure your finances and leveraged debt. Good advice.

Wished I read this years ago
I wished this was available years ago. I was not as resourceful as before. This book will guide novice and give a refresher to the seasoned home buyers. It covers everything you could think of. Easy to read. Well-written. No fluff. Worth your time.

So much great information!
This book has SO MUCH useful advice that guides you from thinking about buying a home to the stage of purchasing the home. I have been looking (mainly waiting lol) to buy a home and this book has helped build confidence towards that commitment in the future. Great read, definitely recommend. I also really enjoyed how they linked a lot of resources that are helpful.

Better Edcuated Answers
This book really helped me understand a world I havent dipped my toes in yet. Ive wanted to buy a house and needed to understand the ins and outs and this really broke down mortgages, loans, fixer-upper houses, and a lot of other questions I had. I feel I am walking into a world that I dont have to lean fully on a realtor now and have some background to make better educated answers

Basics involved in homeowning but mostly just definitions. As a first time home buyer,, I feel like this just scratched the surface as opposed to fully explaining details.
