I worked with Professor Nunn in the early 1990s on a massive bibliography of Asian Studies. I wanted to note here what a delight it was to know him. At the time he had a hilariously small office on the fourth floor of Sakamaki Hall, which had floor to ceiling bookshelves, each only the barest possible distance apart -- a very mini library, with his quite tall frame adding to the generally comic effect of two of us working in there on his project. He always had good humor and stories from his life to share...
