About the author

Award-winning author Lancy McCall is a native Texan who grew up riding horses and rounding up cattle. Ranch life provided a wealth of experiences to share about barrel racing, pole bending, and a few scary stories involving coyotes and rattlesnakes.

Her love of reading and storytelling developed early. Since she was able, she always had a book in hand. This habit filled her personal library with genres ranging from romance to horror to autobiographies. Fantasy and sci-fi hold a special place in her heart, but romance has always been a staple.

After a successful corporate career as a global project manager, she's now found a new calling to turn those experiences into stories for others to read.

Opposites Attract Romance

I enjoyed this opposites attract romance. Work-focused Alexis has no time for relationships while establishing herself in a male dominated industry. Paparazzi shy actor Finlay just wants to take a vacation and remember what it was like to be normal. Neither had plans for more than a vacation fling, but discover that plans and romance never work out the way you expect them to!

If you're looking for an upbeat story about a strong woman in a male-dominated workforce, this is it! She's strong, confident, and knows what she wants from her men, including the hot movie star she meets while traveling back from a business trip. This was a fun read, and I was inspired by the strong female main character.
