Fire Ants
They came, they saw, they conquered. These little ants may seem small, but in the world of nature they are fierce warriors. They move in and others either move out or get eaten. Read all about how they chased a boy up a tree, almost ruined a vacation, turned the tables on an ant expert--and much more.

I found fire ants to be an informative account that sent me on a mission to clear them from North America. I've read as much about them as I could, and was shocked to find that they were adored back in South America by the Natives of the region. Well, they can keep them! Fire Ants is a biographical account probing the deadliness of fire ants. Despite how horrifying and terrible they are, these ants are fascinating creatures. Maybe I'll be an entomologist later.
