This book gave me huge Jurassic Park vibes. The shield around the island also reminded me of the arena in The Hunger Games.

I liked how brave and spontaneous Charlie was. She saw the job as a challenge, and she attacked it head on, despite being the only girl there.

The pacing was good, and I liked how the island was described alongside the dinosaurs. I would've liked to explore the island a bit more and meet any other animals living there.

I'm curious about Shanutek, what the company does, and their motivations for sending people onto the island, other than money and profit.

I liked the ending. It was quite cheeky and showed Charlie's sassy nature. I'd definitely read more books by this author.

Three people went to the island the pilot (Mike), the muscle man (Travis) and Charlie (a woman) ti bring back proof of a dinosaur. Three teams went before and never came back. Charlie would tell us but she signed a non-disclosure.
