There's actually some good stuff in here, but I disagree that most of it is "off the beaten path." For example, one of the Burlington restaurants mentioned is SO busy and so popular - not off the path at all. Maybe because it's a block away from the main shopping center?
Also, it's a little strange to have the author talk about the people who own businesses as though he knows them. Maybe he does, and if that's the case, it's not really an objective evaluation of a business if he's buddy-buddy with the owner.
The authors lived in VT, and I can see where it'd be hard to do this book justice with that history. I've liked the others in the series more.
I have read this and am still making notes. Lovely breezy writing style makes planning a vacation all the more fun. Trouble is now I want to visit Vermont for more than one week!
