A poorly written book, and the author's overly informal, overblown style gives you little confidence in his assertions. His theories are interesting, but you wonder about his grasp of basic science -- I know enough earth science to feel he's cherry-picking his data and drawing sweeping conclusions, but not enough to say whether this or that argument or inference is incorrect and how. It makes me want to sit down and discuss it with a geologist or other earth scientist.

Whelp, if you want to be concerned about the waning magnetic shield of the earth and what happens when it goes away for a period of time when they flip, look no further. This book gives a clear picture on what will happen in the future. What concerns me most is that the pole flip may also coincide with a solar minimum that will plunge the earth into a prolonged cool period.

Slecht book voor logische misvattingen. Ik begin binnenkort met een uitgebreide review van alle fouten in dit boek en plaats er een link naartoe in deze post.
