Newly minted witch Savvy Swift just wants to get a grip on her power when Founder's Day comes to Wickerton Hollow. However, trouble keeps trying to find a haunted exhibit, a new friend in a coma, and a shroud that wants to kill her.

To solve the mystery means sweet-talking a gnome, appeasing the soul-sucking Lite Sprites, and keeping her nemesis, Officer Hoss, from interfering. All this while trying to drown out the voice that wants so badly to lead her to the creature lurking beneath the Bay of Tears.

Will she figure it out? Or, will she, too, end up in a coma? Or, worse?

2023 bk 170. Cute, a little silly, not for when you are in a serious mystery mood. I'll probably read it again in a different mood and pick up an entirely different vibe, but I didn't enjoy the lightheartedness as much as with the first book.

A very good read as I expected

I was excited to learn about more of the town and the people in it. The history was excellent. I love all of her adventures along the way. I loved how one tiny thing led into something else.
