I loved this!!
We get a sexy tattooed biker MMC and an hot sassy independent FMC. I loved their instant connection and the sexy dance Darcy does for Arch before they even meet and he’s sort of being a creeper across the alley! 🤣 And their first encounter face to face on the beach is 🔥!
I think one of the best parts about a book sometimes is being able to relate/connect to a character and I felt that way with Darcy. She’s super independent, will do anything for her friends, and she’s sassy! She also has red hair and drives a black Audi which I do too! 😜
Arch brings her into the fold with his club and she holds her own against the guys she meets at their clubhouse which was refreshing that she didn’t let them push her around and she didn’t cower away from them.
This story focuses mainly on the couple and their relationship. We get snippets of the MC and Darcy’s job and we find out some interesting things about her neighbor being obsessed with her before Arch 💀 him.
The book ends with some things brewing and trouble coming and I can’t wait to see what’s going to happens next!

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Darcy and Arch come from different worlds. He’s a dangerous biker and she’s self proclaimed workaholic who only love life comes in the form of her own fantasies, until Arch shows up. She is sassy and not at all afraid to speak her mind, even when surrounded a bunch of bikers.
There were definitely some things I didn’t see coming, like the neighbor, and I loved it. The only other thing I would’ve liked to have seen was more detailed/longer spicy scenes 😅 but hey, that’s just me.

I was very excited about this book. Shay is a great friend on instagram and I was excited to read her debut book. She did not disappoint.
The chemistry and tension between Arch and Darcy was hot. Darcy is your typical workaholic who is not bothering to find love and Arch is a as he puts it “a bad guy”. The tension from the begining was fantastic and the spicy scenes were perfect tension release!
Loving where the story is going and can not wait to see how the story unfolds. A lot happened in this book and I know the next books are going to be so fun to read. I love Priest who is Arch’s best friend. I do not always get excited over side characters but I am excited for their stories especially Priest! I like how he was with Darcy and he has Arch’s back!
Shay did a great job of writing this story that you can not help but visualize what she is seeing. The description was great and the story flowed nice and easy.

This book has everything you could want in a dark romance - a badass, independent, red haired FMC who takes no shit! A sexy, brooding, biker MMC, covered in tattoos and with eyes to die for. And the spice! Holy damn the spice is top notch!! 🔥 Two words - strip tease 🥵🥵🥵
I fell so hard and fast for this book, and it has become an instant favourite for me. Seriously, if you love MC Romance, and filthy, dirty spice, then do yourself and me a favour and pick this book up. I swear you won't regret it!! 🖤

I enjoyed this book, I just wish it was long with more story. I love Darcy’s strong personality. Arch is what you would want from a sexy, dangerous biker!! Loved when these two came to together. HOT!!! Will definitely continue to read from this author!!

this was short, smutty + an easy read. i really enjoyed this one! i would like an ounce of darcy's confidence, please and thank you. the s*x scenes were hot and that beach scene... good god almighty🌶️ i was a bit confused about the motorcycle club and who certain characters were but the author stated we will get more answers in the series. i'm so ready for the next book!!

🍨 Darcy is a fierce, feisty, and independent workaholic. Her high exec position holds a lot of power over many men. But when she’s home she lives the dark fantasies of the dangerous men playing through her head. (As someone who also lives in her head with some pretty dark fantasies, I can tell you why she loved it there.) Until Arch gives her a glimpse of his own darkness.
🍨 Arch is a mysterious man with many secrets. He is strong and brooding and very much dominant (which makes the 🌶 scenes that much better). As a member of The Order of the Rite, Arch’s loyalty lies with his brothers, but when Darcy comes into the picture he lets her into his life, something he hasn’t done with anyone else. He is fiercely protective & possessive of her as she is him.
🍨 Darcy & Arch instantly lust over each other. There relationship starts as just spicy time together (really really spicy time), but quickly turns into something more.
🍨 If you’re looking for a quick read with lots of spice and two strong and perfectly made for each other characters, this is the book for you! I definitely recommend. I thoroughly enjoyed this book! ❤️ I can’t wait to see what happens with the other characters.

i really don't think i've fallen this deeply in love with a book in a long time.
this book was PHENOMENAL.
like, no cap. the writing was excellent, the grammar, the construction of words together, the plot, the characters & the SMUT!
absolutely swooning over everything about this book!
Arch, the ruthless and notorious man and the part of Darcy's fantasies, never expected this. it wasn't supposed to happen.
Darcy, the no-nonsense, badass and girl boss we all look up to, never wanted anything real. just wanted to live in the fantasies of her glorious, dangerous men.
both of them got something they never expected to find.

everyone one of you NEEDS to pick this book up otherwise you're not cool.
i don't make the rules.
the way shay wrote such common tropes but everything was and felt so original, it didn't feel like i was 'just reading for the sake of my fav tropes' it was GENUINE love at first line.
the SMUT!! the smut- guys. guys. it was the most wet-dreamworthy smut. i have. read. PLEASE- it was hot. like, sweating hot.
i got so giddy at times and i was fucking screaming and giggling and overall it was definitely one of my best reads so far.
best part? i got completely sucked into this book. despite my reading slump, i just couldn't put it down. it just- fully consumes you. it was magical.
i NEED the next book.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review and I really hate to say because i love indie authors and appreciate all of their hard work, but this book was just not my favorite. I’m so sorry. A good 50% of this book had no plot, which would be acceptable if this was a smutty novella, but to my knowledge this was supposed to be a full length novel. If that is untrue let me know and i will revise my review. I tend to review novellas and full length books differently.
With all that being said, I was really excited in the beginning of the book because it looked like it would be a dual pov, but you only get two chapters from the MMC pov. I would have really liked more because I definitely think it would of helped with enhancing the plot and storyline. The FMC is a workaholic and kinda bitchy while the mmc is well in a motorcycle gang and that’s really all I know about him. The characters are very flat one sided and have basically one personality. They talk with so much extremes and desperation and yet I don’t understand why because they hardly know eachother. They’ve only fucked and hung out once. They have sexual chemistry but other than that nothing really emotional or atleast nothing that I could find. It really just lacked a lot of depth that even if this was just a novella this is something I still seek out. Lastly the epilogue left me very confused. Was there a time jump? What’s going on? I just left this book with a lot of questions and really no answers.
As always this is only my review and my opinion. Feel free to read this book and support this indie author and also form your own opinions.

Darcy is a strong woman who isn't affraid to hold her own. She is a force to be reckoned with in the workplace. She outshines every man, but she doesn't have much of a life outside her work. Then she, accidentaly, meets Arch and everything in her life changes.
What was supposed to be a one time type of thing turns out to be so much more, for Darcy and especialy for Arch.
I just love how they function together. Together they really are a power couple. Arch makes Darcy learn how to really live, and Darcy teaches him about real love that is just meant to be. I can't wait to read more in this series. Definetly a must read.

Darcy is a total workaholic who can make grown men cry before breakfast! She is completely independent and loves her bff’s with everything. What she doesn’t expect is someone that could have been plucked straight out of those fantasies to be in her neighbours house and staring at her through the window!
Arch was born into this life, he had no choice. As the tech wiz/hacker he is sent on a job to deal with someone who’d stolen money from the mc. That’s when he spots her through the window and decides to take a week to himself. He never f*cks a girl more than once, relationships aren’t for men like him!
The steamy buildup and sexual tension that Shay created with Darcy and Arch is on another level! It’s not only sexy AF but sassy, fun and also has that growly alphahole feel as well. When they finally do give in to desire sparks fly and they just keep on flying 🔥🥵.
Neither Darcy or Arch want a relationship but like magnets they are drawn to each other and just can’t stay away.
This was a great start to the series, giving us a taste of mc life to come and I honestly can’t wait for the ride!

What a great debut from Shay! I really liked Darcy and Arch. Arch definitely has a sinful mouth on him that could make anyone melt 🫠The whole stalker/observing from afar element to the story was delicious. The instant chemistry and tension you could cut with a butter knife. I absolutely want to be Little Cub😏This was a fun and sexy start to this series. I can't wait to read what happens next.

Shays debut novella was so good! Darcy and Zeke are from two different worlds but their chemistry is off the charts. They had great banter and the spicy scenes were hot!! I can’t wait for the next book to learn more about this world!
