Gruesome and still fun!
There are some pretty nasty nasties in here! Is it me or are they still leveling awfully quickly? On the other hand, they're completing quests, one of which is epic, so possibly not TOO quickly. At some point I hope the adventuring slows a little and let's the story builds bit more.

Good easy read
This series is a good easy read, with a simple but smooth storyline that has your rooting for the main character without getting too distracted. This would be a great series for beginners to the genre, as well as fun reading for those us who already love it.
