When the only man you want could be the monster deserving of your revenge...
I always thought these bikers were nothing but trouble for our small town of Griffinsford.
But when I find my deceased mother’s diary, I’m shocked to discover that they are more than just nasty bullies.
One of them viciously attacked my mother and, in doing so, fathered my little sister, Ellie. He was the reason my mom nearly killed herself four years ago.
I can’t just let it go. I’m going to find the monster and bring him to justice.
My quest to get close to the Twisted Metal MC members leads me to Steel, a gorgeous copper-headed biker with a dark past, a cynical smile, and a sadness in his eyes.
Rough, dangerous, and downright irresistible, he's not your typical hero, but the moment I allow myself to get too close to him, there’s no escaping his charms.
Once Steel hears my tale, he will do anything, even risk his life, to protect me and to get my mother the justice she deserves.
But what if I’m wrong to trust him? After all, he is a badass outlaw like the rest of the Twisted Metal rabble.
What if the man I’m falling hard for is the monster I should be avenging?
Steel’s story is the first book in the "Twisted Metal MC” series, spin-off to “Dark Slayers MC”. This dark MC romance has no cheating, no cliffhanger, and has a HEA. While it’s recommended to read Dark Slayers MC series first, it’s not necessary.
Aria Ray writes suspenseful, hot, and intense romance stories featuring powerful alpha-men and witty heroines, full of sacrifice, love, and happily-ever-afters. Like the heroines of her novels, Aria has always had a crush on sinfully sexy bad boys - dark, controlling, irresistible, but tender and loving.
When she is not writing or daydreaming about new stories, she loves to spend time with her own gang of alpha males - a husband and twin boys. But the real mob boss of the family is Don Corleone - the cat.

Aria Ray continues to be one of my favorite authors. This is the story of Steel and Cora. I just read Mack (Dark Slayers MC) not that long ago and I was trying to figure out how Cora and Steele made their way into that series. Steel is a member of Twisted Metal and hasn’t been too crazy about the way some things are going in the club with his longtime friend Chevron. Cora is a 23-year-old who is taking care of her younger sister after their mother died in childbirth and runs the bakery in Griffinsdorf. Cora has this innocence about her, but she is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in.
Cora and Steel meet in the bar and both are attracted to each other. Cora had just found out some shocking news about her mother and went to drink her problems away. Wanting justice for the wrong done to her mother, Cora sets out to find the “bad” biker who caused her mother so much pain. But in doing this will she drive Steel away?
Cora is the light to Steel’s darkness. And Steel gives Cora a feeling of comfort and safety. Can Cora trust Steel and will Steel be able to overlook the deception? Great story with some wonderful characters. Cora makes you want to go out and just do something good for someone else – she is full of compassion and only wants to help people. I look forward to the next book in this series! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Cora was a strong heroine that brought out the best in a total bad boy who belonged to a 1% MC club. Steel was part of the legacy of the Twisted Metal MC along with the club’s current Prez and even though they grew up together they have grown apart in their idea as how the club should go. Chevron was out for himself and had no sense of right from wrong along with having a very twisted mind.
Cora is looking for the man that was essentially the reason her mother died in childbirth and she confides in Steel to see who that biker was. The secrets that were held throughout would be better off left hidden but everything comes to a head and lives are going to be lost and new alliances made.
This book was a page turner for me with so many things going on that I just HAD to know the answer to. Even though there were some crazy things happening I loved little Ellie and her “puppies”. I can’t wait for more from the Twisted Metal MC.
This is book one in the Twisted Metal MC series sexy biker hated by the women he is drawn to 😊 enemies to lover’s kind of situation. Steel sexy as all get out MC biker comes into a bar that her friend owns and somehow the attraction has them holding a conversation creating a tentative friendship turns into more until she finds the scar on his hand that her mother wrote about only to find out that another member of the MC has the same scar. Cora has been raising her young sister since her mother died during childbirth. While clearing out some of her mother's things, Cora comes across her mother's diary and when reading it, she discovers her mother was raped, resulting in a pregnancy, her sisters birth, and her mother's death. And it likely was one of the Twisted Metal MC! She decides to get justice for her mother and her sister. When she meets Steel and finds out he is a member of Twisted Metal MC, she decides to get close to him. But the attraction between the two of them is real and she finds it difficult to believe he had any responsibility. Steel has been very concerned with the direction the MC has been taking over a past few years and has been trying to change things. The book is full of sizzle, steam, action, drama, and so much more. Great start to this new series and with the book available on Kindle Unlimited, free to read with your subscription.

Steel has been a background character in the Dark Slayers series for a few books now but has a really prominent one (with Cora) in Mack which really begged the question Who is Steel and how did he land shy Cora.
This book feels darker than the slayers ones, and I have to say the Steel we got wasn’t the Steel I expected from previous descriptions. His world is harsher, harder and more violent and despite he has his hea, it feels like there is still danger here.
I loved Cora and her innocence, and how she accepted her love of Steel but was determined to break the MC of their antiquated treatment of women. Ellis was so funny and cute and the instafamily dynamic was lovely.
Not sure who is up next but I look forward to the next in series.

Steel and his best friend the president of the Twisted Steel MC are part of the original crew, however Steel is starting to have second thoughts on the way hos friend is taking the club. The club watched out for each other bit now under his friends guidance it is only about what the pres wants. Steel is not happy and it takes meeting Cora and her sister and helping Cora find out who jirt her family to give him the courage and strength to stand up for his club and what it really means and to confront the Pres. This is an exciting start to a new series that will keep you glued all the way to the end. Well written with so many twists you don't know what will happen. Sit back and enjoy as Steel and Cora try to find out what happened to jer mom amd who was responsible as well as save his club.

When Ellie meets Steel initially she thinks he is unlike what she thought a member of Twisted Metal MC would be. Then she finds her mothers diary and realizes her baby sister, who she is raising, is a product of a rape. She wants revenge for what the man did, she needs help and she gets close to Steel trying to get her answers.
Steel is smitten with Ellie and when he finds out that one of his club brothers could have done this. He needs to protect Ellie and her sister, but the club is divided and Steel is beginning to question if he wants to continue on the path the club is on.
I was pulled in right away. I was a bit put off initially by the way they treated the women but it all comes full circle. The book definitely sets up for more in series that I will be reading. I liked Steel a lot, he is rugged and amazing with Ellie and her sister. Great read.
Cora is raising her three year old sister, her mother died giving birth to her. When she reads he mother's diary, Cora finds out she was raped and that it was most likely one of the Twisted Metal MC. She decides to get justice for her mother, which means getting close to the MC. This leads her to Steel, one of the members of the Twisted Metal. She does not get a vibe that it could be him, but she needs to prove he is not.
Steel really has a thing for Cora, but he feels like she is holding something back from him.
This is a spin off of the author's Dark Slayers series and that should be read first to get a real sense of what is happening between the two clubs.

Cora found her late mothers diary and found out that her three year old little sister Ellie was a result of a rape by a outlaw biker so Cora sets out to find the man responsible by the description her mother wrote about. Steel who is a member of the Twisted Metal MC comes into her friends bar and they strike up a friendship that turns into more until she finds the scar on his hand that her mother wrote about only to find out that another member of the MC has the same scar. Wow! This kept me in suspense just guessing who is the father of her sister and what will Cora do if it is Steel.

This is the 1st in a new series, and this is Steel and Cora’s journey. Cora is bringing up little sister alone after her mother passes away in childbirth, and when she finds her mom’s diary, she wants vengeance against the man responsible. Cora meets Steel in a bar and there is an instant attraction between them, and he is a member of the MC she is seeking answers from. I love how Cora is not afraid to stand up for herself. This is a well written story which has secrets, emotions, twists, justice, revelations, and love, which leads to a dark, raw, and gritty page turner. I've been following the Twisted Metal MC throughout the Dark Slayers series and I was happy to see it develop into a series of their own. Steel is like a Phoenix rising from the dark pits of h*ll the previous presidents had dragged the club into. The book begins with Steel teetering on the edge of losing his soul until Cora comes into his life. I loved how they came to an agreement on middle ground and are able to bring the club out of the darkness by working together with openness, honesty and compromise. The book does contain a lot of graphic violence, but it is what should be expected from a hard core MC.
Cora and Steel are a different type of couple. I loved the huge differences in these two and I love how they both changed in small ways becoming the perfect couple! I was impressed with the storyline and was excited to finally get the story after reading the Dark Slayers MC series. I liked the glimpses I got of them in a few books so it's nice to have their story!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Ellie was an awesome addition to this book! Love Ellie!.

Steel is a really great story to start the new Twisted Metal MC series with. We learned some of the story in the Dark Slayers books but we get the whole picture between Steel and Cora in this one per center tale. Somehow I didn't get a solid conclusion from the ending, but I guess that just allows me to speculate. Ellie was adorable and Nan was a spitfire. I'm looking forward to jumping into this MC series as a darker contrast to the other MC in Griffinsford.

As the details for this book suggests a woman has found her mothers diary when clearing out her effects, as her family is moving house. She is horrified to learn her mother had been raped by a MC member (prior to her suicide) and she resolves to work out who is responsible and get justice for her mother.
This book has violence, fighting, sadness, and a little girl with an unusual afinity for all things dog ;).

I loved Steel and Cora! Steel was so sweet and protective with Cora and Ellie! Cora was trying to find answers about her mom's background and Steel was trying to help her get justice. So many twists and turns kept this suspenseful and interesting. I loved their relationship and I'm looking forward to reading about more of the brothers.

Steel and Cora’s story starts with her finding her late mother’s diary discovering she was raped by an MC person so she sets out to avenge the wrong. She meets Steel and he hears her story and helps. He’s caring and protective and will get things done. You see some old characters from the other MC series and it’s nice to hear some more.

One look at him and she was enamored! From finding out the truth of what happened to her mother to thinking Steel was the culprit Cora was rattled. When Steel stepped up to right the wrong done to her family, Cora was a goner over Steel. Could she finally have a life with a good man? Was Steel the one that could help her get over all the bad in her life?.

After reading Dark Slayers bks 1 - 13 i'd read about Steel in their stories. So seeing Steels book it was a must for me. Did I enjoy it? -#ell Yes!!!! Loved reading how sweet Cora was growing as she needed to with the help of the right man behind her. Was nice reading a HEA for the pair.
Hope there is going to be books on some of the other brothers and a few crossovers, think Twisted Metal & Slayers could become allies especially since the old lady's are such good fiends n
A perfect steamy romantic suspenseful page turner that is an wonderfully charming story with a happily ever after. With complexed and I think heroic main characters. The books I have read from this author is some great books that I would recommend.

Cora is out for answers and revenge against the MC for what they did to her mother, finding the one responsible isn't going to be an easy task. but when Cora meets Steel she finds her in but can she trust him? well written steamy, desires, drama, action and more a great start to a new MC series.
I really enjoyed this book. It's the first book I've read by this author, but I was intrigued by the premise and had to pick it up. Great world building and compelling characters. I liked the budding relationship between Cora and Steel. The anticipation to find out who her late mother's rapist was strong. I couldn't put this one down and would read more from this author. 5 stars.
Cora is out for revenge for the injustice doe to her mother. She connects with Steel who is a biker. Can she trust him to help her? This story is filed with action packed drama and suspense that had me on the edge of my seat!

Cora and Steel didn’t start out as a perfect couple but they changed in ways to make them the perfect match. The two couldn’t be more different at the start of the book but as it progresses they find they have more in common. Steel doesn’t like the way his club has been going for a while now and when he meets Cora and she tells him her story he knows it has to change. Can Cora trust Steel?
I loved Steele and Cora. Cora was exactly what Steele needed, you could really feel his discontent early on in the book. I felt so bad for Cora, she was so young and had to essentially give up her youth to take care of her sister, grandmother and family business after her mother passed away. I really liked the mystery aspect, trying to figure out who hurt Cora's mother.
Steel was a character that made me yell out 'you can do better'. It takes awhile before he mans up to do the job he was meant to. Cora is sweet yet devious enough to manipulate Steel. Things heat up when they turn to each other. Interested to see how this group progresses.

I really enjoy Aria Ray’s book!! I am glad to read about this Mc connected to another Mc but disappointed that this one came out in 2022 it’s 2025 and no word when the next book Deceit will come out! But I am sure when she gets around to it it will be another great one I may have to read this one again to refresh my memory
