If you're a dog lover and a quilter this book is for you! There are 24 applique blocks to make and quilt with a variety of options; the entire quilt could be one dog, or a collection of favorite dogs. I guarantee if your favorite is not included in the 24 pattern "kennel" it would not be too difficult to adapt the block by color or size to fit your choice. Each dog is appliqued on a neutral background and given a suitable border. Eyes are painted to give a life like expression. Each pattern includes tips and ideas to enhance the directions to make them especially personal to your favorite dog. Also included are great instructions on how to properly use a light box and each pattern includes full size templates.

cute doggie designs applied to fabric! while i don't think i'm going to be making a doggie quilt i want to remember that the quilt backgrounds are awesome and possibly worth trying out on some project in the future!
