Sweet romance, but a slow start. Loved the Hero and his batman(valet); both are great characters. Heroine was okay, but somewhat bland, missish, and clueless (I'm just a poor country bumpkin female adrift in the big city; oh dear me whatever should I do?!). Nice enough story, but a bit contrived and not completely engaging. Some words and phrases seemed from the wrong era.
