I read Best of YOU BE THE JURY by Marvin Miller, because it seemed to be the shortest book on the shelf. I actually kind of liked the book because the stories were so whack. It’s just a bunch of people making whack claims then going into court. The entire time I was wondering why the did not just check the security footage, like for the case of the squashed tomatoes when they charged my man with criminal charges using bite marks as evidence. Who the heck does not have teeth lmao. People may try and counterclaim me and say something like “Well they did not have cameras back then this book is older than the bible.” That is a fake claim because they have a PICTURE of a bunch of nerdy looking people on the cover (except for my mans in the top right corner wearing the yellow shirt, don’t mess with him.) My favorite character in the book was Jason Compson, he is legit the most dumb old dude to roam planet earth. If you want proof page 17 says “THE ACCIDENT WAS A FAKE The accident was faked by Jason Compson. EXHIBIT B shows Compson’s forehead covered by a large bandage. If he had been hanging the mirror, his back would have been to the window. The injury would have been to the back of his head.” This man did not like the noise of the golfers, so he tried to make it seem like one of them hit him in the head. On top of that, I don't think they could have missed his massive nose. My least character in the book was Donald Breen because he was cheap af. Pages 70 and 71 state ´´Mr. Breen hired Emily Chowder to help with the mailing. Her job was to take 1,000 announcements, fold and stuff them into envelopes, and paste on stamps. Emily would be paid $6.00 an hour for the job. EIGHT HOURS LATER Emily Chowder was only halfway done, Mr. Breen did not want to pay her for the full eight hours, because she had not finished. On top of that, she had stopped to drink water out of the pool. He did not give her any water, so she drank out to the pool (which people probably have peed in) and Mr. Breen was being cheap.¨ That is why I don't like Donald Breen. You should only read this book if know what you are getting yourself into.
